Did anyone watch it tonight? That's got to be the funniest show on TV, they had Awen Guttenbeil on it, it was hilarious when he and Bill were making that pottery you-know-what, and then he was beating him up.

to be honest, i was a little disappointed in last night's episode. In general, i thought it wasn't nearly as funny as previous seasons. i did enjoy the sporting hell segment, though! 
I dont watch Pulp Sport regularly, but the bits I've seen in the past were pretty funny. Which is a change, because most NZ comedys arent that funny!
I love that segment where they play jokes on Steve McIvor.. and they play the MacGyver theme song at the start. I liked the one where they stole his desk out of his office and replaced it with a racing car bed. Another good one was when he went out to the carpark to drive home, and finds his car is completely wrapped up in bubble wrap.

The pranks on Steve McIvor are from the first two seasons, when pulp sport was aired by skytv. Now pulp sport is "owned" (not sure if that's the right word) by TV3, so they prank Hamish McKay(ver) instead.
Hamish has got a way better sense of humour than Steve. apparently he wanted to sue Bill and Ben! what a baby!

He's one of the worst people I've seen when it comes to handling criticism. I still remember him getting stuck into Tony Veitch on his league programme because Veitch had said there were better people for the job than McIvor. I guess he mostly reacted because he knew Veitch was right! :lol:

Pulp Sports is funny stuff!! Loved it when they dressed as pallbearers and tried sneaking beer into Ericsson inside a casket!!
