The New Zealand Warriors will watch the State of Origin rugby league finale tomorrow and while they may have divided loyalties, they will be hoping skipper Steve Price gets through the match.

Price was today named captain of a Warriors team seeking their fourth straight National Rugby League (NRL) victory in North Queensland on Saturday night -- although that is contingent on how the inspirational prop fares as Queensland chase a 3-0 whitewash over New South Wales.

Should Price be able to back up -- as he did after game two to play an integral role in the 40-point drubbing of Penrith -- he will record his 50th appearance for the Warriors.

Price is one of several squad members on the brink of milestones.

Hooker Nathan Fien will record his 150th first grade appearance against his old club while wing Manu Vatuvei, like Price, is also set to post his half century for the Warriors.

However, despite the number of personal milestones looming, the end result is imperative at Townsville's Dairy Farmer Stadium as the Warriors strive to follow their impressive 22-6 victory on the Gold Coast with a successful end to their road trip.

"The players produced one of our best performances of the year last weekend but while we've done well in the past few weeks to put some wins together, we have to keep things going to stay in contact in this competition," head coach Ivan Cleary said.

He named a team with minimal changes from the side who triumphed on their inaugural visit to the Titans, with Price predictably returning to the front row and prop Evarn Tuimavave dropping to a six-man bench.

The Warriors have not won in Townsville since 2002 but have taken the two encounters between the clubs -- both in Auckland late last season and in April.

While Price could be fatigued after the Origin finale in Brisbane, the Cowboys have also been affected, with Morons halfback Jonathan Thurston, fullback Matt Bowen and prop Carl Webb playing alongside Price.

I dont think fatigue will be a factor for Price. He made 306metres after backing up from his last Origin match.
