Just looking at the stats we won everything. To me tonight it looked like webby got it wrong. Lussick on way to long and offers nothing in attack. We played a massive forward pack, bench even bigger and our bench prop doesn’t get on, doesn’t make sense. And played like warriors when rts was last here, pass it to someone and hope they do something

I would only play lussick for 20mins max!!!

CNK is gonna be a big in but I actually thought Tuapiki was really good tonight. Maybe not in attacking shape but in all the areas that can embarrass a young fullback he stood up. He’s a quality back up and wasn’t the worst on the park. Let’s just say I’m a Holden man 😂
Hearty player, really hearty i thought. Certainly never disgraced himself. For a little bloke i thought he might be get rag dolled a bit but he holds his own in contact well enough.

As far as on the shifts are concerned i noticed in the trials he tends to take that 2nd man sweeping play of SJ from a standing start as opposed to Charnze who's taking that pass already at pace. Think this is due partly to his size where little guys normally beat bigger blokes from a standing start and its just what he's used to.. I think for our shapes to be effective we really need that 2nd man to be on the backdoor at speed. He did adjust once and we did create an overlap but i think the pass went behind Dallin.

However by and large tho we were running those plays off static ball which meant we hadnt really bent the line in the middle and compressed the defence,, hence when we went wide we were generally running at numbers or easy pickings for their outsides to chase out. Need more AFB and Marata power game.

Early days yet.

He is a quite different style of player to CNK as you say. Doesn't shy away from the work though and I thought his ball playing was a big improvement on what we have seen from him in other games. Certainly a handy back up fullback but hard to replace everything that CNK has bought to the team.

I'm in shock really. Expected a lot more. Everything in our favour this year. Big crowd, loads of hype. RTS. Capewah. All an illusion?
Pass it to Roger never worked even when he was here in stint 1. Pass it to SJ worked when he was rookie but he's older. The team is fine in my opinion but Roger is not the Messiah. It's real that senor Webby can get things wrong just like the players.

Take our medicine. Get ready for next week. We know we can do it. So does everyone else. Lift.
