Cook Islands, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga

How many and which ones will reach the knock out stage?

Does Tonga have the best squad outside the big three?

Will any of them beat NZ, ENG, or AUS?

I wonder if Samoa will step up there game in spite of three high quality nrl stars and others out of the team?
Roy Asotasi, Steve Matai, Jeff Lima, Carlos Tuimavave...

One is guaranteed out of Samoa and PNG in our pool it's actually not possible for a team in the pacific to not progress to the Quarters.

I'm predicting that PNG and Samoa will go through there

It's hard not to see Tonga going through

Fiji have a good chance of beating Ireland in Pool A

So I have Samoa , Tonga , PNG , FIji

Useless bit of trivia to bore the fuck out of your mates with:

Cook Islands have never won a RLWC game ever!

Dont see them advancing at all. Tonga should top their pool with the quality and experience of their squad. Nothing like a big head and a gritty balls and all match by a team like Scotland to displace that though. Im expecting a few upsets in that pool.

Cant wait...

Pacific Cup Concepts.

Play Origin on stand alone weekends filled with Pacific Cup matches,

So Tonga V Samoa - Friday Night
Fiji v Png - Saturday Night
Origin 1 - Sunday Night

Then rotate teams for the next 2 matches, winner of the cup is whoever wins the most games and pd.

This way no need for end of year tours and maybe 3 test series with Aus at the end of year.

I would have NZ in the mix with the three highest ranked Pacific Island teams - maybe with a second tier comp running for the others with the winner of that replacing the team that comes fourth each year?[DOUBLEPOST=1383002949][/DOUBLEPOST]Whilst we are on the subject - I would move the world club challenge to the weekend after the two grand finals and have either a World Cup or four nations type affair every November.

Rising Manly 2nd rower James Hasson wins the battle over Ashton Simms on a points decision.
After there tussle when Hasson put the big shot on Simms and then picked him up and dumped him into the ground.
Simms goes for the big shot in return and Hasson shunts him out of the way before Simms makes a second attempt.
They have a few more goes at one another, but that was a minor victory for Hasson.
Simms toiled hard all day, had a great game. All the Simms brothers were a go.
Have Manly resigned Hasson yet?

Good solid game from Bukuya during Fijis great quarter final win over Samoa.
Got smashed in a beauty from Tim Lafai, got up in a huff.
But went well, made good yards, even from a flat start.
Samoa could not rise to the occasion in this one, saw how much it ment to our island brothers when they screened
Manumalealii in tears when they knew they were not moving on.
Great Rugby League World Cup Samoa.
Done your country proud.
