OMG

OMG

This is my problem with this reasoning. There are a shit load of AFL players running around doing nothing but running, jumping, and being hit in the air. Darren Jolly is 2.0m tall and 108kg, Sam Jacobs is 2.03m and 105kg, Nic Naitanui is 2.01m and 110kg - and those are just 3 names off the top of my head. There's no way you can convince me Manu does more jumping and getting knocked about in the air than AFL players, especially forwards and ruckmen.

So while I don't want to offend you or your experience(s), I'm going to assume that the above theory is your own, and isn't actually following any sort of research or sports science.

Manu has had a host of injuries, as have many of our current squad, as has almost every player involved in professional sport around the world. Perhaps you're applying a little too much from your own world/experience and trying to make it fit with a totally different profession.

Seriously..GAYFL FFS, appples and potatoes, you may as well have said soccer and basketball.

I'm talking about athletes...running, jumping, and landing...it doesn't matter what fucken sport it is.

No offence but what a moronic response. Stay out of the discussion if you don't understand what's being discussed.

GAY FL - what a funny, witty and original response! Clearly you either read none of what was being said, or it all went entirely over your head.

pffftt , You are comparing nothing, If Manu was playing AFL(happy now) he would have been running around at 105kg max, do you see where I might be going with this??
You may as well have mentioned soccer or basketball, Rugby is comparable, AFL is nearly non contact in comparison, how would those AFL players handle being slammed by 200kg plus 10+ times a game..You know the answer, they would be broken in no time at all.

Lol.

Not even going to respond, clearly your capacity is too limited.

Actually...just for my own amusement, who in the NRL is 200kg?

Obviously you haven't heard about a kid called israel folau and what he had to endure to get to AFL playing weight..You do realise that in the NRL have to bulk up and in the AFL players have to trim down..

Clearly you don't have the capacity to grasp the different forces involved in the 2 games..

How many times have do you see Manu tackled by one person???

I was never talking about tackling FFS!

Go back and read what we were actually discussing before gracing us with your moronic replies that miss the point entirely.

Nothing. It just smacks of someone so desperate to jump at the first chance of rubbishing the code that you've completely missed the point, and continue to do so.

I was reading Buddy, you have no point you are comparing apples and potatoes.. I see your opinion using AFL players as examples as idiocy, now if you had mentioned Rugby or even NFL, I could understand your view point, but calling me names does nothing to strengthen your argument.

I'm not calling you names, I'm calling your responses moronic. And I don't give a shit what you think, I was discussing it with Sup42 who immediately saw what I meant and agreed.

You may be able to read, but you're not comprehending what's being said. I'm not surprised, and frankly I don't care.

Yeah, which is the problem. You're not actually listening to what's being said. You saw the word AFL and your world turned read, steam out of your ears, etc etc. So anything said from then on in meant nothing to you, you'd made up your mind that ANY comparison drawn was a waste of time.
