Manly coach out coached us.
Ref was best we have had this season.
Early mistakes kept us under the pump.
Until Jazz came on and ignited us, we were under the pump.
Barney gets better every game and I am now officially a TMM, Laban and Capewell fanboy.
Ale is still a Me Ted
Shaun like wine gets better with age.
Manly were on to us in the middle and because of the wet weather we were reluctant to go wide.
Montoya does not get a lot of love on this forum but had an incredible game.
DWZ my MOM

I'm happy with one point. Losing is tough enough but when it was getting close I was dreading them celebrating at the end. That would have happened if DCE got a 1 pointer in golden point.

Thought both teams handled golden point well besides a few mistakes. There weren't the really stupid shots at field goal. A lot of getting position.

Still don't think we're a wet track team, Addin can't use his footwork, our outside backs get get bogged down, and they're all big units who lack outright speed to start with, except Dallin. Starting to think we pulled off a miracle comeback now even though it's only 1 point.

Yeah I was thinking the same

Dry hard track and we seem to click better

The evening dew and moisture seems to stifle out flow

I'll have to watch the replay again but I think we were probably a lot better than we'll get credit for on here.

Individual execution was well below expected levels but you can't really get back into the game like that if you don't play well IMO

Laban didn't do all that much for his time ..but I agree against weaker teams like the Dragoons & Tits ..why not give him more time along with CHT
Chuck a dude on for 11 minutes (until 80 mins) at 19 years old. He isn't going to make any miracle plays. He won't want to disappoint anyone so he will put his head down and do what needs to be done. Put him on 5 mins before half time and another 15 mins after half time, he'll express himself more.

I also disagree with the play him against weaker teams. That's not how you improve. Play against the hard teams and he'll work harder.

They're two very evenly matched teams for sure, lead by our veteran general 7's. Can't really tell if we were making errors because Manly were so good or lack of concentration. Anyway they couldn't beat us, so we're as good as them, make a good GF story arc this year, Shaun and Cherry back for 2011 round 2.

Until Jazz came on Addin was as flat as a pancake, and I am AFB fan. Rewatch game and you may agree.

Was real critical of him that set where we had 3 huge runs up the middle, he got 4th tackle and just jogged it up.

Manly were completely on the back foot. He needed to go back through the middle again or pass it on for a play from the halves.

Just jogging it up in that scenario was really poor

Defensively can't fault him. With ball in hand it feels he has more to give despite his awesome stat lines.
