SIMON MANNERING has every right to be tired of his nickname but he quite likes it. Around Mt Smart, the Warriors captain is known as ‘Junior’, often shortened to ‘Ju-ju’.
As far as nicknames go, it seems about as appropriate as Sean Connery calling Harrison Ford by the same label in the classic Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
