Are Ford and Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad both out for 2 weeks (failed HIA 11 day stand downs), or were their head knocks not "category 1"?

If Ford is back, he slots in for Barnett on the edge (apparently left stadium on a stretcher - hopefully just as a precaution!), or takes Sironen's bench spot if Barnett is good to go.

Assuming Egan will be out, Lussick comes in.

Wiliame back in for Vailea (if Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is out) - Vailea wasn't bad, but wasn't good either. Would rather the safe option for the must-win against the Doggies.

The biggest question is what Webby does if Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is available... I think that if Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is available, he'll just swap in for Tuaupiki. However, some have posted for Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad to come in at centre - Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad has had mixed success at centre when playing there for the Kiwis, but would be an upgrade on Wiliame I think. Pompey has probably played well enough to retain his jersey... for now. Pompey's defence is solid, and he has shown glimpses on attack, but the dumb plays can be a killer...

Otherwise, same team.

Agree - if he is available, Webby will play him at fullback. Hope Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is pumped to get under some Burton spiral bombs!

I don't know how Lussick has been going. Tough call on Taine, but Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad has to slot in somewhere. Otherwise the same side barring and more injuries.

There is no chance that Barnett is playing, I can't imagine the team risking it.

Switch Tevega and Lussick, Afoa in the 10, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak in possibly for Kosi with Siro/Curran coming on the bench.

Yeah, just read he was taken to hospital in a neck brace so will update my lineup as who knows how long he will be out for. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak might be a chance but round 5 was his expected return.

Would imagine it's precautionary going into round 4 against the Dogs.

Jazz & Walker are too valuable as impact off the bench to play either of them at 9 barring more injuries.

Lussick has proven himself a capable replacement and probably deserves a game given his performances in Cup in the first couple of rounds.

I think he's ready, and our forwards will have his back if the Flogs try a little Freddy bashing. We're not the affable nice guys of the nrl anymore, it's 2023 and we're Sam Rapira core.

Far out, 3 rounds in and already so many injuries.
Curran, Ford, Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad and possibly Dallin Watene-Zelezniak could all return, while Egan and Barnett likely out.
So really, it's anyone's guess as to who's fit and who'll be sweet.

Does anyone know what's injury Barnett actually has? I'm guessing, but there was no HIA/headknock aye? So, if the nerve damage/pain comes right hell be good to go?

Curran's hip injury looked pretty bad so I wouldn't rush him back unless they have to. Sironen can do a job off the bench.

A lot of teams on the improve in the early rounds including the Doggies so can’t go in under prepared or too confident after a great team effort vs the Cows

But rest Eagan is a go for me

Lussick good for 50 - 60 mins and depending the bench make up Jazz or Sironen as hooker relief

Probably didnt need him. I think getting Ale as many valuable minutes early in the season is smart. Build his confidence and fitness and keep Bunty fresh. Its a long season, and Bunty is a play every game type guy so will be invaluable if we make a run at the finals.
