My final team for next tuesday.

1 C N Klokstad
2 D W Zelezniak
3 V Vailea (left) longterm
4 A Pompey (right) until berry comes right
5 M Montoya (lock up, always gives 100%)
6 T M Martin
7 S Johnson
8 A F Blake
9 W Egan
10 B Afoa
11 M Barnett (left)
12 M Niukore (right)
13 T Harris c

14 D Walker
15 T Ale (change with Addin Fonua-Blake)
16 J Curran (front row paired with bunty)
17 J Ford (hard earned)

We need two props starting and bunty is the guy (i see the lols coming i know)

I can accept the teams decision here. What frustrates me is the NRL's absolute lack of making any effort to give the Warriors a hand after going through 3 extremely disruptive years due to COVID. I love the footy but geeze the org sucks.
It's odd to me that as Warriors fans we can see this for the BS it is from the NRL, but as soon as the question turns to the player base as a whole, and the negotiations on the CBA, then a lot of us here start saying things which back the NRL over the RLPA - to me its the same attitude manifesting itself in different scenarios - Jarvis Cocker said it best : c**** are still running the world

Good point, we accuse the nrl of being a corrupt criminal organisation owned by a robber baron, yet we blame the players for wanting pensions and maternity leave - Bob Dylan said it best: steal a little and they throw you in jail, steal the lot and they make you king.

Anyway, I'd start Barney in the front row and Bunty off the bench.

Not much we can do. Shaun Johnson will be 7. Te Maire Martin will help the attack flow alot better than the Shaun Johnson & Volkman combo.
Egan did f all to help out in that regard.

1st game of the season for some of our 1st graders. I'm not going to lose my rag over last weeks performance.

We just need Shaun Johnson to get his kicks right. Egan to get our forwards rolling up feild and Te Maire Martin to create the time & space for our backs to score.

Sound's simple. And we can make simple look hard most times lol.

Yes we need to win the first game, build momentum. We should be realistically targeting 3 wins in the first 6 games.

Centre and the reserves are the only debate and possibly second row starting.

Possibly I would put Harris rotating in the front row.

Walker is a great 14 but maybe we need to bite the bullet and have him in the centre for now. It's a problem position, Walker can play there and I feel the more minutes he has on the field - the better it is for us. Plus - we need Niukore in the forwards - he is a monster and we need his power.

I actually thought Shaun Johnson looked sharp tbf.
His first kick didn't find touch because of a pretty freakish fullback play, game of CMs really. His next few kicks were OK then the one out on the full was a bit of a bludger tbf. The team lacked attacking field position in the first half big time. One play were he went short to niukore was a try begging imo.
He defended well in the first half too.
In the second half first ten to fifteen minutes , he looked pretty sharp in the red zone his biggest fault was that weird offside marker thing that led to a try. But otherwise pretty good.

Agree you can also add in magic round in Brizzy.. Its always our home game...

How does the glue smell you sniffed before posting this?
