Where does jazz sit when fit, if Ford continues his pre season form?

I don't want to cut curren just yet but fuck he needs to pick it up, i would drop Ale.
Reckon most people will agree with this line up.

Yea can't see much wrong from this lineup. Jazz must come back in for whoever is not performing. With Tohu Harris we can make it work Wether it is a prop or backrower

Am I the only one thinking Curren has been pretty underwhelming the last 12 months?

Anyone picking him is purely on 2021 form.
Having said that, hopefully he can find that form again. His best games were at Lock.

Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad
Montoya
Vailea
Pompey
Dallin Watene-Zelezniak
Martin
Johnson
Addin Fonua-Blake
Egan
Bunty
Nuikore
Barnett
Tohu Harris

Ale
Walker
Ford
Curren / Jazz when fit
Yeah I agree re Curran. He started last year brilliantly at lock but had some defensive difficulties when switching back to the second row and couldn’t find the offload on attack that had made him dangerous

No, I’m thinking it too but feel like Curren still has to be in the mix, it's a challenge to strengthen the middle and still retain some impact from your bench props with what we have within the squad.

My selection won't happen anyway, Webby is set on Tohu Harris ball playing at Lock - not that we saw any real evidence of that in the trial but we know he has it in him.

It's early doors but I sense we will need to fill that last spot on the roster with a first-grade prop by round 8 at the latest.

Watch for us to make some 2024 signings after the CBA is potentially signed/ Maybe one of those dudes will come early.

Yeah, I mean it's certainly possible. It's also worth noting that there is almost always a level of movement in the player market early in the season. Typically when players discover they perhaps aren't in their coach's plans or fail to consistently make the 17, we begin to see and hear rumors of them unhappy and starting to agitate for a release.

We may be able to jag a player under those circumstances.

Our attack lacked zip. We missed Metcalf/Te Maire Martin combo. I have to agree, Williame is Blake Green slow. I think Ford doesn't offer anything different to the other forwards which is why I swap him out for Curran and bring Leautaua to the bench. It's an effort to provide different running angles. I'd like to see Tauapiki go FB at some stage too as Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is steady but runs with lead in his boots.
