Storm1.jpg

After the Round 12 game against the North Queensland Cowboys at Queensland Country Bank Stadium do you want to see any changes for the Round 14 game against the Melbourne Storm at Central Coast Stadium?

Promotions?
Demotions?
Any new injury concerns?
Any returning players?
Any tweaks to the bench?

Discuss...

WE HAVE A BYE NEXT WEEK IN ROUND 13

Sean O’Sullivan has to have a go IMO. Has a better organisation game then both Cody and Chanel Harris-Tavita, better kicking game, and takes the line on more. Is able to build pressure and force repeat sets, which we can’t do. Kodi and Chanel Harris-Tavita have 8 between them in 18 games, Sean O'Sullivan has 5 in 4 games.
We looked a bit stagnant in attack when he was playing, but more structured. With Reece at the back, we have that attack we were missing.

Knee jerk reaction is to put Walsh in the halves. He looks great at FB, setting up tries and scoring them. We shouldn’t ruin that

From nrl.com

Walsh and Dunn were hit with charges over the same incident, Dunn with a grade one dangerous contact charge on Walsh and Walsh with a grade one striking charge as he retaliated. Both will receive a one-match ban with an early guilty plea or risk two-match bans if they plead not guilty and lose at the judiciary.

Pompey is also facing a one-match ban with an early plea or two at the judiciary for a crusher tackle”

I would like to see Brown swing the Ax on Jazz for 3-4 games to give him time to reflect.
I would bring Ken back for this game as Murchie was sound defensively but Naff offensively at centre last time so don't want a second rower

1 Roger Tuivasa-Sheck
2 Montoya (Thank goodness we picked him up in the off season)
3 Berry
4 Aitken
5 Ken
6 Kodi
7 Chanel Harris-Tavita
8 Addin Fonua-Blake - Yeah Boy
9 Egan
10 Evans
11 Curran - should be back
12 Murchie
13 Harris

14 Sironen - oh wait he is out. Sean O'Sullivan then on the bench at 14.
15 Leeson Ah-Mau
16 Jamayne Tounua-Brown - Pick him over Bunty as both are Naff runners but Jamayne Tounua-Brown probably gets through the more tackles. Bunty 22.2 tackles per game and Jamayne Tounua-Brown 25.5 tackles per game. Jamayne Tounua-Brown avg running metres 54 and Bunty 68
17 Ben Murdoch-Masila

Addin Fonua-Blake/Leeson Ah-Mau/Evans to get big minutes and Jamayne Tounua-Brown to only get a 12 minute stint. Like SK used to give garbage minutes to the most junior forward on the bench.

Pompey is out likely with a suspension, unfortunately.

Want to see Berry given a shot in the halves due to his long kicking game, showed a lot of it in Union playing fullback, and its something we will need with Walsh out. But he probably won't provide much in terms of last tackle options (not that we're good in that department anyway). Nikorima lucky to even be on the bench with Otukolo lurking. Wanted to drop Chanel Harris-Tavita also but lets be honest, he's better than Sean O'Sullivan in every facet. Want to see Vailea given a shot on the wing. Tevaga dropped and I probably won't select him again this year, unless injuries happen.
