A lot of Warriors fans over the years avoided watching games so that they could check the result first. I used to think they were soft.

That's what I did for the first time ever. Really enjoyed the game tbh. knowing the result ahead of time meant I only saw the positives, and there were lots of positives.

As far as this weeks team goes, quite honestly were it me, I'd pick the same team, I would explain to Fusitua, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, and Green if fit "These fookers need to see some competition for spots at this club, take one for the team and have a rest boys.

I'd do that for one week only, just to give the culture of the club a massive kick up the arse.

Knowing what you know about Kearney, what % chance do you think there is of Kearney doing that? He should swallow his pride and accept he was wrong to keep leaving Kata there. He is wrong to keep playing Blair in a team where not once did he put his hand up to have a run in a team where we have luke, roache and tevaga. He can make a stand that he will pick team based on merit and performance and not based on his favourites, and im not convinced he is able to let his ego slide.

Knowing what I know I'd say zero chance.

Kearney showed his hand when he put TL ahead of rising star Isaac Luke in the Kiwis, and gave Luke five minute stints off the bench, He sealed the deal when he became Warriors coach and ignored Karl Lawtons three try effort on debut, with a very close fourth try.

Paasi wasn't in his plans last year.

Sao's situation is a joke.

I am amazed Burr is getting a genuine shot.

Kearney's only redeeming feature is that he listens to his co coaches, so really, if you think about it, this one is on Alias Smith and Jones, Iro and Payten.

Those men have to force his hand and say the things we all want to say,.

after last weeks jigsaw of a team, next weeks team could be a lottery

but Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Fusitua and Green walk back into the team and Herbert just has to stay !

still not keen on the 3 small guys though, rather Luke to start and Roache on the bench. Jazz ISP

Havent scored many points last couple of weeks and some ball playing big dudes on the bench would be ideal

Do you think that Fusitua has been texting Mooks asking if he can have Hiku and Harris back now that Kata is a Canterbury Cup regular...

It was frustrating looking at his selections for the Kiwis wandering why a specialist like Benji Marshall couldn't get a recall and he'd say he's in the mix and dodge answering it but would select a second rower there instead. Now we can see his stubbornness on droping players close up.

Burr probably has the benefit of being the new guy and in favour. Pulu seemed to have it last year until injury. Pulu was well deserved though as it looked like he trained hard during the pre season and performed on the field. I could see us signing someone else and the new guy needs to be added along with Blair and Papali'i so Burr gets flicked.

Sao got flicked last year as soon as bigger names were available. After that it seemed like Kearney had forgotten his number.

I don't mind it being impossible to make the side if we are winning. We aren't winning so you can't just keep picking guys thinking it will soon change.

Tuivasa-sheck
Maumalo
Hiku
Herbert
Fusitua
Tavita Harris
Green
Paasi
Luke
Afoa
Papali'i
Harris
Burr

Roache
Beale
Blair
Ah Mau

Roache on the bench as I can't see Luke playing out the full 80.

I'll assume Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Fusitua and Green are all back seeing as Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and Green were close. I usually prefer to have a bench for impact but would stick Beale on there to cover injury seeing as we have three guys coming back.

Blair is the dodgy one and is close to last chance. I'd play him in the middle and probably in the front row. This is where I need to see the psychologist as I'd give him a rocket and expect him to make metres.

Fusitua, Hiku, Harris were a pretty good defensive unit last year. Throw Chanel Harris-Tavita over that side to run the lines Shaun Johnson used to run, and bingo, we have a winner.

Maumalo has the turning circle of a small Japanese whaling ship, so put him outside the fastest, most agile, green peace activist like, player in the squad, the man, the myth, the legend, Pat 'Herbie' Herbert, and all of a sudden our edges are looking tidy. Then bring Pulu back to damage the line, before Green spirals and sends a spiral pass left to the boys in space.

Sheck can run support lines through the middle, hunting the offloads, and pop up out wide on the set plays.

Sign me up for the head coaching job. I'll work for 20% off if they call in the next 30 minutes...

I am going to petition the moderators to make sure all potential playing 17s named on this site include Jazz Tevaga even though it is your "dream team". This will be a mandated rule.
Just like we fans have to accept him and two other hookers on game day.
You are not allowed to be free from him even in your preferred dream team.
