Mannering said in the aftermatch interview that he is probably another 3 weeks away.

Lawton didn’t play yesterday as was injured..

Paasi hardly did anything in the ISP match worthy of a promotion even if Papalii is out injured. Vete or Satae would be my pick for a bench spot.

Good to see you posting teams again with some genuine interest bro.

I really like your suggestion that Mannering comes off the bench on lots of levels....probably the main one being...take care of a returning Soldier....this gives you a sense of more control over your output I.e let others play grunts and cannon fodder....bench players have an easier job gauging how much gas is in the tank.

The other main thing I like is the message that players coming into a team showing some form....shouldn't just stroll in and take a starting spot off someone who is doing their job well.

Competition for spots could be a thing at the Warriors if.....

A legend has to fight for a spot once in his career...

Vete didnt make much metrage either. Satae looked good seemed to be playing 2nd row.

Those people bagging Lino yeah he had a lot of mistakes worst game I have seen him play but he didn't play last week and is probably capable of a big improvement.

in the other thread Sup said that the ISP team was heavily affected by the bug from Perth? would that explain the level of play you saw?

People seem to forget or perhaps don’t know that Paasi made 21 carries for 200 meters in last weeks game so he’s not entirely out of form, I see him coming onto the bench with Vaha moving to the left edge if Simon’s still unavailable.

Watched a little bit of the reserve and couldn't believe what a big human Satae is jaysus, his thighs are huge. The bits i did see Vete didn't look too bad but then again i only watched about a quarter of the game.

Pulu was everywhere, did the job Papaii did for us last week. That should be rwarded with a starting spot.

I know Mannering isn't back but when he does return I would be keeping him in the middle to try and stop the metres these teams are making in the first few hitups, plus I think on attack I prefer him out of the backline.

i dont see the point in having 4 on the bench and one sits on it for over 70 minutes
