Paasi is the player to fear as an ex Warrior.

He is twice the player that Hurrell pretends to be and four times the threat of that bloke.

Konrad should be the easiest to contain in the seventeen, he is the player they know how to read best. Ex Kiwis that carve up the Warriors are an anomaly of the past, borne out of ex Pats that come here fired up in front of family, friends, ex team mates, and coaching staff they have a point to prove in front of.

The only reason they get purchase in these games is the Warriors players either fear them or take them too lightly.

I cant see us playing in cruise mode this coming game...as Ive banged on in several other threads, the coaches have this team fired up.

Hurrell is easy to beat. Kick the ball to him directly on every set. Mark up heavily on him (the risk is he offloads or passes if you do this....but he only ever does that once a game...so you might concede one try....thereafter he is neutralized till the end of the game...he is a confidence runner...with no space he goes to crap).

Running people at him is a popular tactic too.

My suspicion is, that if we spend too much time worrying about Konrad...that it is more likely other players will carve us up.

Konrad is shit at off the ball work at effort on effort.

Throw all of our best attackers at him in motion...loads of decoys...he is a shit reader.

I have a feeling that Konrad's game will be a clinic on all the reasons he wasn't wanted here. But probably nothing too special from him.

I have a feeling Ayshford was being punished for last week's game, but again if you're not gonna play him then don't pick him.

I think Roache should come in for Tevaga. Ayshford back into the starting line up. Ken to NSW Cup/Bench (if Cappy wants a outside back on the bench, also could have a stint in the middle). If Ken goes to NSW cup bring in a prob like a Sipley (preferable option).

Roache should be in the 17 at this stage over Tevaga. I know Tevaga can play in the middle, but bringing in another prop (instead of having a outside back on the bench) and with our second row already able to play the full 80. Roache could give us a bit more energy and speed at certain parts of the game.
