Warriors Orange Peeler
Panthers vs Warriors Gameday Chatter [Round 24, 2022]

Although the Eels lapped the Donkeys last night 53-6 @ $3.50 Panthers v Warriors still represents good value for the biggest winning margin of the round, we have one more record loss in us this season to finish with the worst defensive record in the club's history.

Panthers won't play this at 100%. It's not like getting more points makes any difference at this stage. They'll be in Cruise Mode - win by 14-20 points rather than a true Huge Milly Ate Shaun.

The NRL bent over to let them have the minor premiership presentation a weekly early at home, so they'll be wanting a win for the crowd, would be a bit a downer to celebrate getting the shield after a loss, especially against the Wars.

Look at the blowouts last round - the lesser teams were all thrashed by the top sides. This is the Panthers opportunity to destroy a bottom team in the lead up to the finals.

I see reality and acceptance have crept in. We could be set up for the perfect storm.
As previously mentioned if the Minor Premiership trophy is being presented, there is no way the Panthers are going to let us in with a sniff.
The reality is the gulf between the top six clubs and the bottom clubs is great. It also raises the question of spreading the talent across the competition.
Some of our guys could be playing for their future, just hope it isn't a total capitulation.

This round has started with a blowout scoreline. Not looking good for the Warriors this week. Playing the Panthers was always going to be hard, esp given the performances that the Warriors have put out there this season. Hope they can keep the score somewhat respectable.
