Sorry DMM but if you know anything then going to the top is actually slower than going to the actual person in charge of what you want changed. Put it that way, it seems logical right?

So heres what I bet happens: you present your ideas to Wayne. Do you think he controls half time entertainment? Most probably not. So, you present your ideas and then they MIGHT make changes but are they what you wanted? Most probably not. Why? Because Wayne had to relay the information to the manager in charge and information was lost on the way.

Frankly I'm surprised Wayne even has time for you, most CEO's would put you to the person in charge.

Its like designing a car and you have an idea for a new shell. Go for it, go to the CEO of Ford but do you think action will be taken? Of course not, he has bigger things to worry about. Thats what Product Managers are for.

Its not about the spelling mistake.

Its that you don't take advice. I offered some advice and you shoved it in my face.

I'm telling you that the Marketing Manager is in charge of everything you guys have bought up.

You don't have to take it, just like you can go into the meeting spelling Vodafone wrong. But I'm giving you advice from someone who knows a thing or two, and the more professional you can be in a situation like this, the better. So take what you like from that. If you deduced that I hate the Warriors and hate all of you then so be it.

But don't tell me to go to bed and don't act like I don't know anything when you are the one making basic errors.

i believe an informal meeting has been set up on saturday wiki, but point taken.

what i wrote up in the thread was the gist of what i hope is related verbally to the warriors boss. i wont be printing it out and waving it under his snoz.

i am grateful to the people who offer criticism and sugestion, it helps keep the idea running in a straight direction.

i firmly believe that when this is put to the club and accepted, we will see some fairly big changes in the way the fan is treated .

it will be the fans (you, me,dmm, uncle tom cobbley) who will be calling some of the shots. we wont have things dished up for us anymore, we will be writing the menu.

Course at first it didn't. It had to do with the fact that I offered a simple fix for something that may not be important to you, but that will make an impression on Wayne.

Its small, and it doesn't mean much to you but if your offering a proposal then it will make a difference.

On a side note, don't just go in there with 5 things bullet pointed.

In fact, I suggest a page report on each topic that you bring up. In the report you need to discuss:

• *Firstly, your idea.
  *What significant difference will it make?
  *What is in it for the Warriors?
  *How much will it cost to implement?
  *Who is going to do it?
  *What are the positives / negatives about the idea?
  *How will it be implemented?

You can't walk in with an idea with nothing to back it up (not saying you were going to do that) as Wayne will have heard it all before - people talk, noone does anything.

Now you're offering something constructive Wiki. Its unfortunate that a couple of us are on dial-up or the chatroom would be the place to discuss such things like you have put forward. That is why I have made us meet up three quarters of an hour before, so we can talk about such things. Not the way you have it listed, but pretty close. Keep those suggestions up and I might think you are trying to help out.

He was trying to relay what he would verbally say so you guys on the forum could see.
He won't print it out and then hold the floor so Mr Scurrah can sit and listen to him waffle, it was to give forum members an idea.

Don't knock something before it's happened. You don't know what will come out of this meeting, we don't know but at least it's a start.. he may point us somewhere else, that's great. Baut at least he's giving us his valuable time.

I wasn't trying to put anyone down. I want success at this meeting as much as anyone, and I was hoping that any proposal that was put forward to Wayne was not hindered by a few spelling mistakes.
