General Our 2012 wins

round 2 parramatta eels 36-20 as we now know the eels were shit in 2012.
round 4 gold coast titans 26-6 for the first half of the season the titans couldn't score. but it was a full strength side.
round 7 rabbitohs 44-22 bunnies were missing sam burgess, nathan merritt, roy asotasi, score line didn't reflect the game.
Round 9 brisbane broncos 30-20 probably the best win of the year.
round 10 sydney roosters 30-22 the roosters have been equally as bad as the warriors this season.
round 14 penrith panthers 30-16 another win against the bottom ranked side.
round 17 NQ cowboys 30-16 a win but the cowboys were missing 5 players due to origin.
round 18 gold coast titans 32-14 a win against another weakend titans side.

looking at these results most of these games we won were against depleted sides. how many of these wins could you really get excited about maybe the game against the broncos thats about it. we only strung two wins in a row once and we are on a 4 game loosing streak. is this acceptable people? should the warriors learn from parramatta and not waste another year of this bullshit and get rid of a guy who has already run out of ideas . he has said it himself he doesn't know what he can change and that he will keep trying the same thing because he believes he's doing the right thing. clearly its not the right thing.

Just a correction bigstu, scoreline round 10 was 30-26 - we very nearly lost that game.. remember they were on our goal-line probably about to score until Jacob Lillyman KO'd minichello who got up dazed and played the ball sideways

But totally agree.. virtually none of those victories were anything to get excited about except for the Broncos game and perhaps the Rabbitohs game.. but as you say that game was a lot closer than the final score indicates.

While we may gain something by dissecting the wins you've listed above, I'd rather we did not have yet another thread discussing Bluey. There are already 2 threads discussing him and whether he's the man for the job. So if the list of wins are there as an argument for/against keeping the coach then I will merge this thread into the Bluey poll thread.

Its been one of the most uninspiring seasons I can remember since the 1990s. Very similar to 09 where we were talked up as contenders and were absolute rubbish. Another similarity is that, like this year, we introduced a lot of new guys that season.

09 was a joke stacey jones being the worst part of it and im worried bringing TL back to nrl will be equally as bad if not worse

does it say its a bluey thread anywhere?

Well, can you read the part I've quoted from you?

Here, let me help you re-read your own post.

Your main question after listing our results is regarding whether or not we keep the coach. Is that clear enough for you?

I can help.

TD means any discussion about the coach, bashing, or not. What the Doctor is trying to explain is that there is already a home (or two) for discussions centered around the coach, and is asking, kindly, if you could please use those instead of starting entirely new threads.

Disappointing season I got to admit but saying we bet depleted teams when our own team has been depleted doesn't really mean much. All teams in the NRL gets tons of injuries throughout the season so most teams are always depleted in some way except for a couple of lucky teams each season.

All teams do have injuries throughout the season, but most of those teams first choice and only choice replacements aren't debutants or guys with less than 10 games under their belts, i think we've had seven players make their debut this season so far.

Personally I think our losses are more telling than our wins, before the Cronulla game we had led at halftime in 5 out of our previous six losses. The amount of back to back tries we concede in a short amount of time is really quite staggering. It's like when we take a hit we turn the other cheek just so the opposition have a fresh target to slap.

Haven't looked convincing at all against the top sides this season. Manly buried us in round 1 and exposed all our weaknesses that for me was a bad omen, it seemed as though from that game we never looked a genuine threat. The recent loss against The Broncos was a match we should have won and would have given us some much needed momentum but then again I'm grasping at straws we just haven't looked convincing all season to be brutally honest, a culmination of too many factors to mention has played it's part.
