I'm not complaining but we can't have it both ways, either the site owns the posts or it doesn't.
If you are going to give blanket permission then take any heat as well. It is just a point of law I would like to see cleared up as obviously the media do troll this site and we couls see more comments making th media and I for one would not like to see imflammatory comments attributed to thi or any site involving warriors fans. Lets face it some of these comments can and do get quite heated. All it needs is a stupid comment taken out of context quoted and then we have a problem like we had a few years ago. Something I personally would not like to see happen again.

Yes perhaps but as WBBC mentioned before our clarification is simple. And I won't go any further in that. You can take it up with our owner if you wish. But as far as I'm concerned we have no problems with the publication that's all.
well there are certain laws. defamtion and libel are covered fairly heavily in nz law.
as for the posts on this forum I think it is deemed public domain and media can therefore do whatever they like with them.

It is the responsibility of the forum what they allow to be printed on the web site. It is the responsibility of the newspaper what they print in their paper.
