Anyway i just caught the end of a story on the sports news bout orene aii(former auckland rugby player) coming to league or something in 8 months. Did anyone hear the full story or no anything about this????????
I reckon he would be awesome at league lol.

Oh my god, this guy is a talent in the making. If you saw him on the 7's circuit last year then you will know what I am talking about.

This guy will run around anyone, his step is up there with Benji ...even better.

I hope he gets signed to a quick running team.

He is an ace at touch ...he would sit nicely with Benji.

If he can kick, I wouldn't mind him sitting in at 5/8th.

I rate his skill much higher than Benji. He is more composed and mature as a footballer as well.

His footwork is amazing. Give him space and he will tear the house down.

he's only about 22-23 i think, i remember watching him play under 19s just a few years ago. he'd be a great centre, short but strong and faaaaast. he's O for Awesome. please warriors! if we HAVE to lose webby, please recruit this maestro.

i watched him line up against lote tuqiri in a sevens game here in brisbane once, Orene ran rings around him. hope he doesn't mind a pay cut to come to warriors, he'd be on BIG money in Japan. Toutai Kefu is on a million a season.

Yeah, he would be a good centre I agree however if he has a good kicking game then I would slot him in the 5/8th role. He could be perfect.

Because of his 7's he is sound fitness wise, sound defensive wise and he can run around any player quicker than anyone I have seen. Because of the touch nature of sevens, his handling is pretty much up there with Benji.

Ok so with Webb gone, we pick up Wade who is cheaper. We have already recruited Kirk and can be regarded as a small purchase.

I would release Lauaki and pickup Orene and be finished with the purchases. We already have a fullback utility. We already have enough props with Rapira, Wiki, Evarn and Price. We already have enough backrowers with Fai sitting in the wings. We don't need any more wingers with Ah Van, Toddy, Vuna and Vatuvei. We already have enough centres and a good goal kicker. We have our half in Ravs and we have our hooker in Fein. Lets put Ropati back where he belongs and bring in someone with superb talent like Orene.

I don't see his age as a down side. In fact, maybe an upside. We could have a Benji in our squad that isn't injury prone.

well said bro, yeah i rate his footwork much higher that Benjis, mainly because he has the strength to follow through and make a half break a full break. where as Benji and even Rua Tipoki are very slight in build and need to rely solely on their speed to get them through the gaps. i hope we sign him, i think i'll cream myself....

To tell you the truth ...I think I will too, haha. That is in a non-gay way of course.

At least if we get a few signatures, the Warriors will start to look at him. Or do you think its too late and they will use up their money too quickly.

God I wish we didn't have the salary cap problem from last year!

I know the Warriors will have him in the backs of their minds but with a huge amount of support for him to become a Warrior maybe they will think harder. If the fans want him to play for them then maybe it will keep talks going just a bit longer.

I'm all for the petition, i think if all of us advertise the petition to our mates and on other forums we're apart of, it'd fill up pretty quik.

the only thing is i don't think it'd have that much of an effect on Wayne Scurrah and co. Webbs a fan favourite and that doesn't mean anything to them as a business.
