I went for Grant Rovelli, played little game time but deserved more, great born sensation to rugby league and our club but in my view he would make a better Halfback, deserves to be in the starting line up against the Eels, very dangerous player.

I'm not too sure who I'm picking but I was impressed with Luck, he did a mountain of work, and I thought Rovelli had a great debut. May I add I was pretty disappointed with Martin, bring back the Todd for the Eels I say.

All in all I reckon it's another one of those 2005 "The one that got away games"

Martin was a defensive liability, but whoelse kicks?

Rovelli was very good.

Faumuina will probably get suspended so I'd go, Fien, Hohaia, Ropati, Martin, Byrne, Vatuvei, Webb next week.

Yeah Martin was dissapointing. He hasn't got the speed for wing and considering he's a centre he shouldn't be expected to play there either. I'm keen to see Vuna in there.

I thought it was a very encouraging start. The first half gameplan was good with us able to make a few half breaks. What ruined it was poor execution. Like I said in the game thread, if the Warriors can play that way and still complete 70% possession then we'll have a good season.

Yeah true, but kicking alone surely can't merit selection not when we have some promising youngsters waiting in the wings pardon the pun.

We have 3 part time kickers in Lance, Sione and Webb, I'm sure between them we could manage and perhaps stiffen up our right side defence at the same time at Tony's expense.

Martins kicking was very good though. He got some kicks over from the sideline.
I thought he did ok. Pity he had his foot on the line for that try.

I voted for Price. That guy is a machine.

Rovelli showed he is useful, though I don't think he deserved MOM from such a brief appearance. I think Robster just has a fixation on small nippy players.

Rueben will be more effective the closer we get to the eight, and the later in the season it gets. He is all heart.
Rovelli did good, showed some good vision.

I voted for Price. Was close to going Rovelli, maybe if he played longer and kept up the good work I would have voted for him.

We need to keep Martin. Whats he played in the last 6 months, 3 games??? 1 game back isn't enough to judge the guy when he is playing in an unfamiliar position, and his kicking is 10x better than our next player. I can see him winning a game or two at least with his kicking. Unlike the last season or so, when we lost games due to our lack of goal kicking.

I thought it was close between Ravs and Pricey. As for one nother person to pick...not really many stood out for me. Maybe Toopi for the fact he showed some delight in the game. And possibly Michael Luck too. Rather limited choice.
