I nominate Simon Mannering, as he was a little raw in 2005 but after an injury early in the year really came back and was one of the most consistent players in the side.

mannering has improved heaps but for me, even though he only had a handful of games this season, is hame lauaki.

he turned from a waste of size to a monster. love it!!! cant wait to see this guy in 2007

the reason i didn't say mannering is because he wasn't exactly useless last year, (remember him bumping off hodges on his debut?) it's just he got more game time this year to show more. not necessarilly impoved at all.

where as hame WAS usless, he was dreadful in defence and i definately wasn't a fan. a torn pec and half a handful of games later he's 20 times the player he was in 2004 - 05. most improved player for sure. much more improved than mannering, who i am also a big fan of.

On another not I thought that apart from Toopi whose always been up and down that 'mr reliable' Wai was very average this season.

The most un-improved so to speak
