Yes it's true. In RLW it said they're going to approach him about the possibility of playing halfback in the Anzac test after his good form playing there in the trials. Marshall and Hunt are good friend and they're hoping the chance to play alongside Benji will sway him over to the Kiwis.

LOL it'll take a miracle for him to change his mind. He is no good to us if he plays with no passion. No matter how talented he is he'll probly let the team down.

But he was young dumb and full of .. when he rejected the NZRL maybe he has matured in these two years who knows. The Kiwis do need a fullback/halfback tho.

Give the guy a chance if he wants to play. He was only 17 when first approached and probably had advice from the likes of Wayne Bennett.
Perhaps he will now see that he is ranked at about # 4 for the Qld SOO fullback slot.

Benji is tryin to get him to play for us...imo benji's a fool for doing so....if he doesnt wanna play for his own country...then let it be....he obviously isnt worth worrying about
