I think the Dragons have the outright 2nd longest losing streak in the NRL era now. 15 games.

The 2016/17 Knights at 19 loses hold that record.

That's serious hard yakka for the fans...
Has a Mt Smart crowd ever booed off a Warriors team?

Thought that was pretty low (I get it though, but booing your interim coach isn't going to help the cause, big problems take time, wonder what Metcalf thought of last night, you can bet he watches all the Drags games now).

that's still about 200m less kicking meters than what we normally got under TB. It's something we need to address in the long term. Maybe we just concede the lower kicking meters and just work on improving set distance with a different middle rotation or introducing CNK back into the team. I'm sure Webby is thinking about it.

I looked at the stats for raiders rainy game and Tanah/CHT did 840 off 26 kicks, minus 3 grubbers thats avg 36m. This one they did 495/15 kicks 0 grubbers at 33m. Got limitations but similar comparison and it’s definitely less, tho if CHT can work on consistency he might get close there were some good kicks towards the end like others said, CNK’s definitely another option for metres

It’s very interesting Pompey at cup played 6 and did the gk though 😂 Has anyone seen what his long kicks are like?

Walkouts at or before halftime, boos and the burning of jerseys we all can feel the Dragons pain.
Dragons have such a rich League history too and diehard fans by the looks on some of their depression last night.

Ive got stats of who takes majority of kicks (%) based on boyd, metcalf, tmm combinations when they play together (if they kick as TMM plays a fair bit as utility off bench), avg metres per kick etc, as well as historically in Warriors colours (CHT took a backseat when SJ was here). Ill post it ater.

Boyd is miles ahead as expected. Metcalf, then CHT which is more evenly shared. TMM lags behind in whichever combination that is out there.

Once Metcalf is back to fitness (should come via NSW Cup), then hopefully it is 6. CHT, Metcalf halves with Healey 14, and TMM providing utility cover on 6 man bench.

TMM plays best off the cuff and he does have good ability to cover a lot of positiins should injuries arise, but lacks the ownership of the team that the other 3 can provide. A combo of CHT and TMM is limiting what this team is capable of achieving this season now that Boyd is out.

Thought it was a trap game but satisfied with the W. Not convincing and was untidy at times but made the most of it. Most important is, loving the next man up and business as usual mentality of them this year though hope RTS and EIT get back up and running soon. 🤞 Onto Penrith! 👍
This isn't a direct response to you (Ninj) but more to the group. It was raining, the pitch was muddy, we had considerable outs, a non-kicking 7, a non-kicking goal kicker (I like both players but they had to perform their weakest part of their games last night and we are fortunate we played a winless team. We have also done a lot of travel lately with a massive game the following week (All players and the coaches will have had an eye on that despite what they say). We also had our best centre go off early and then his replacement went of not much long after. We had to rearrange back row to centre and prop to back row, TSS playing much longer minutes than he has done. And despite all of that - playing without our usual high completion, a light kicking game - we win away from home by 18 points!

It shows how far we have come - let's enjoy this! In long competitions, these games and their result are vital.... and yes I gave it an A. I am not trying to change how anyone grades the games, but merely explain my rationale..... I see every win as an A now, and exceptional performances like Storm and the Broncos A+. B's and C's are for improvements in close losses where effort was there but execution perhaps wasn't. D's = effort isn't there; however, I don't seeing that as a concern anymore.

Our club is in a great place! Regardless if we win the big prize at the end... I have had more good times this season than nearly all before and we are only nearing half way. Webby and Cappy are the crux for everything.... I hope we never let go of them in the next 15 years. :) Their decisions are based on a greater starting knowledge than us, inside knowledge of what they are trying to achieve game to game and of trainings, players 'connectiveness' (new word) and their injuries or personal situations.

Just rewatched the game minus the beer goggles...

Laban was immense! I can see long term he could become our Ford replicant.
EIT was also very sound defensively in his short stint.
Chanel's defence caused so many turnovers. He's safely best in comp at 6.
Im hoping they've put the Leka plays in the bag for a game against a premiership threat (ie. Panthers next week) still a lot to learn for the young fella, especially in the wet weather.
Te Maire still obviously getting up to speed, but he plays with so much time and subtlety.

As others have said, the wet conditions leveled things. But class always wins.
Cant wait to see what webby has up his sleeve to upset the Panthers play style.

Laban is a fearless beast.
He’s all effort and naturally tough

In the real low times I think the crowd would just head home early rather than stick around to boo them at full time.

A lot of the more infamous games, the vatuvei 10 errors, the sharks game that got Elliott sacked, the 60 points against Penrith and titans, obviously Covid games were all in Australia.

I went to a late season game at the cake tin against St George, think it was after Johnson broke his leg so old mate Chad Townsend was leading the side around, everything he touched turned to shit, raining, dreary conditions, never in the game, just terrible.

Crowd was silent but didn’t boo ‘em. Or maybe I left early

It will be hold the ball.. complete your sets. All of the fundamentals.

But our x factors are;

Lofi with a little bit of space can burn them.

Dallin on the end of our shaped can score.

Our pack can challenge them beyond what they may be able to handle.

Our team can hurt them physically with our aggressive defence.

Penrith are the benchmark for sure. But we have a massive and cool opportunity to beat them......our way.
