Has anyone else heard anything about the NSW Cup turning into an official NRL Reserve Grade next year? There is talk of it on other forums.

Have heard that Penrith will be forming their own reserve side in the nsw cup and cutting ties with the Windsor Wolves.

There was talk back when the new broadcasting deal was done that they were going to bring back the reserve grade. Heard some rumblings about starting an U23 comp too...

I would hope so. It would make airing it on television a more attractive option too, I would think. Seeing the Dragons vs the Warriors would probably draw more interest from channel flickers than the Cutters vs the Vulcans imo.

And I guess it would mean that EVERY game is a double/triple header??

A properly organised reserve grade should pull up the standard too. Vulcs were not looking the best this weekend. Where was the party the night before boys? Looked like hangover central in the first half.

I watched that game, distinct lack of intelligence and leadership/direction. I thought they needed Waetford at 5/8. They were headless chooks, came alive for 15 minutes then lose it. I forget who it was but probably the dumbarsed obvious strip in the history of the game. What happened to Louisi?
