You insinuated that he wouldn't be a good get because he's currently not playing - even tho he's injured. But again, Roosters have such a glutton of options in their backline that a player like Momirovski - who would probably get a start at most clubs - is not an immediate inclusion when fit.
My observation dear watson. Is that hes not all that? Is that alright with you? Or do you want me to get on bended knee and ask for your forgiveness? Lol.
When you don't have a solid or cohesive argument it's easier to throw out several random comments and hope one of them stick.
No solid argument? 🤣 Bro, Go have a beer. Relaaaaax.... Just because someone doesn't agree with your make believe possible signing. Doesn't mean my opinions on Momo aren't vailid. Pull all the stats out of the book of Rugby League bible you want. From what i've seen. He isn't the answer. Heck, I'd rather have Jesse Arthars back. But that's not gonna happen.

We'll have to make do with what we have & trust in webby to make it work.

I hear ya. But, There is the rest of NZ to explore. Where Union rules the roost. No harm in looking outside of our backyard every now & then.
It's not like we don't look in these places. We've approached many rugby stars in schools. The reality is that with young players it's impossible to know who is going to come through 5 years of development and still be:
1. Keen on league.
2. Keen on the Warriors.
AND:
3. Have the right attitude.
4. Stay injury-free.

There's a lot to consider. Because there's no point investing so much time, energy and money (paying overs to ward off other clubs) in a junior only for him to leave when another club offers them a first grade spot or, the most likely scenario, they turn out to not have the right stuff.

There were four of us at Kelston who wanted to be Warriors in 1995. I got injured and discouraged, then distracted. Awen got recruited to Manly (then later came back), Matt Rua ended up at Manly a couple of years later, and Steve Buckingham was the only one who made the development squad. It was only a certain special Little General who kept Bucks out.

It's weird because we were the next best team after St.Pauls but we were a rugby school. The 1st XV coach asked me to play for them when Kees Meeuws was out injured. But I hated prop and the league team struggled for numbers.

These days kids have it easy. They literally get groomed in the classroom. But they have so many options and rugby roll out the carpet for them. There's the constant engagement.

Love hearing these stories bro! It's a shame injury halted your progress for a bit. Could of been a founding member of our club!
How'd your career go after the injury? Did you pursue it any further? If you don't mind me asking.

I agree, but if you find rugby boys who are dreaming of being all blacks don’t cry if we spend lots of resources and can’t keep them. Cherish the leaguies, there’s lots of them around.
Yes, search them out.

Def in the possibility column for me is mr momo

Experience, battle hardened, been involved in great systems, he may lack X factor but does provide stability, defence and draw and pass

Cheeky 2 year deal medium salary bring up our 3 young centres

Pompey can stay or be trade bait

The answer is our juniors, but they 2 years away

Hiku would fit that bill.

And still looking sharper than Pompey! Man im trying for Pompey but fuck he looked so slow in the weekend.
Ideally a centre has enough speed to get on the outside of his man and draw the winger. Also have enough power to crash over the line. He definitely lacks on the speed side which makes his power easier to deal with. He’s technically a secret second rower out in the centres 🫣😂

Speed has always been our problem in the modern era, Metcalf would burn all the players off and he's not top 10 fast in the NRL

I went to a trial and got 10 minutes. I was told I had impact but my fitness needed to improve. I hung out at the Bears a bit. Funny thing Brady Malam got signed. I knew I was better than him. But my dad passed away, so I didn't have my mentor any more, found god and I went on a Mormon mission, where I found out I was diabetic and that my legs would never be the same. My knees are still no good. Can't sprint at all. I've got a big black mark on my left leg reminding me.

I was a power runner - not many could tackle me, offloading machine. But I had a weak attitude and didn't look after myself. I don't look at what might have been (any more). What happened was meant to happen.
