Bit of arrogance about them. Dogs at least are aware of their own limitations in this weather.

this is what I thought last week ws going to be.
On paper, the Bulldogs team look like a group of nobodies. There's not one player I'd like to have except maybe Crighton.

Dogs haven't changed from last year. They were there to be beaten today. Raiders just dumb footy.
Ricky is bedded into the Raiders like a "Alabama Tick".If raiders don't do well this year it will be curtains for Ricky
Losing Fogarty was huge for the Raiders.
The dogs have been quite underwhelming.
I wonder if Ciraldo has put the training wheels back in this year and is replicating the 'if you can't tackle, you can attack' mentality that Webby rolled out last year.

Ricky Stuart first coach to reach 300 games for the Raiders.
They have had some rough years under him but also some good periods. Shows sometimes sacking the coach may not be the answer. Let them work through the issues or freshen up the playing group. The Raiders don't tend to sack coaches. I think they have had a few sign elsewhere and Meninga they had to gently move on as he was a club legend.
You can't say his 300 games in charge have been boring. He's been good for a blow up or two most seasons.
