Man that's early! It's got me excited about next year already!

The Eels to start of proceedings! Then we play the potential premiers! And come home and play the Broncos (I'm guessing the 1st team named is the home team)

Will be an insane start to the season! :D

At least we get a nice easy first round against the Eels to get back into the swing of things.

It's gonna be another tough away season for the boys! Games we avoided this year, we will have to play next year. i.e tough road trips to Canberra and Brisbane. Plus the usual tough trips to Brookvale to play Manly, 'The Graveyard' to play Melbourne (although we do have fond memories), Skilled Park to play the Titans, Toyota Park to play the Sharks and with our loss this year, we still haven't beat the Dragons at WIN Stadium!

Full faith in the boys though, I firmly believe we are building to something special! Only 6 more months til kick off! :D

A tough start as per usual, but at least we have a home match first up, and finishing off against the team who I believe will be 2008 runners up will be a great gauge for us heading into the finals, assuming we make it.

Does anyone know what the 'Glory Bound Round' thing is about? Just an indication that we're getting closer to the finals? I'm assuming there's more to it than that.

Sea Eagles away, Broncos, Rabbitohs (our bogie team)

... I could see this going badly... the headlines will be "Warriors losing streak continues"... I predict we'll lose 50% of the "fanbase" in the 70th minute of the 4th round...

Mind you, 4 of the first 5 games are at home... we'll probably start well.

Yeah, our starts always seem quite hard.

I guess the bonus is there that if we can start well then we should be well set up to come through the middle of the season in a solid position ready to push up towards the top at the end.

But shucks, Eels at home could be a banana skin, then away to the Sea Eagles could be a repeat of the 50 point job this year, home to the Broncos and home to the Rabbits (0-2 this year), away to the Knights (they will be tougher next year), home to the Roosters, away to the Storm, away to the Dragons...

If you looked at ladder position from this year and venue then we would be underdogs in 6 of those 8 games, only favourites v the Eels and Rabbits.

No easy games in this comp though. Should be an interesting season because most of the top 8 sides are either going to be a bit stronger or a bit more motivated. I'll also be interested to see how the Sharks play. Their style will win them a lot of games but not a premiership so they'll have to try something different which might see them go down the bog.

You know what? I'm going to don my Steve Price hat and say "we have to face them sooner or later, so we'd might as well get them out of the way". :D

I've seen tougher draws.

Eels - Eels are very slow starters, but in their favour is they'll be out to impress whoever the new coach is. We are at home though.

Sea Eagles - Will be tough no doubt.

Broncos - We always step up for them and at home we're a strong chance.

Rabbitohs - We butchered two games we should've won against them this year after a run of 6 years where we were undefeated against them. That hardly qualifies them as a bogey side. Beatable.

Knights - Beat them home and away this year, teams look largely the same, if we perform we can win.

Roosters - At home, the boys should hold no fear for them. Just do what we did this ear, keep them out of kicking range and the Roosters have no idea after that.

I'd say the Sea Eagles/maybe Knights away will be the only ones where we won't start favourites based on this years performances. Injuries, form can change things very quickly though.
