Interesting idea of dealing with Pool C players in advance.I think with the pool C players (tino for example) the club who has already signed them (titans in this case) should get the opportunity to either honor that deal (with a value that Moses agrees to which will then come off their cap) or they can renege in which case the player goes back into pool A with the rest of the uncontracted players.
Probably pay to get the pool C players out of the way before the comp starts proper so there’s less confusion.
That way you’re either a pool A player who is uncontracted and u can make an offer on or a pool B who is contracted but can be traded for.
What's everyone's view on the Storm being allowed to make a counter offer to keep Tino.
An argument in favour of it is that in Pool A - the incumbent team can counter offer to keep and re-sign their guy.
An argument against is that I would feel aggrieved if I were the titans.
I feel storm should have some mitigation but I don't know what? Thoughts...I mean could the Isaac Moses pick a slightly lesser but comparable player from the Titans roster as compensation. In the NHL that is exactly what happens in some cases.
Edit or the Titans could have to pay the storm $'s compensation.
