Social NRL fantasy draft

I know there is already a forum NRL fantasy comp going but I prefer to play the NRL fantasy Draft as I find it less stressful and more easy to play as you don't need to spend as much time on it.

I have set the Draft to start at 2pm AEST (4pm NZT) this sunday
You can pick you Draft now and set it to auto if you can't make it on Sunday.

I signed up last year for the first time. I love the concept, but if I'm honest I was a bit disappointed as it seemed like no one was keen to trade and everyone just tried to pick up the new players who pop up during the year, or the injured players who are returning.
Yea, I did it last year for the first time as well. It just felt a bit stale.

The depth also isn't there imo, if you get injuries you are cooked.

I play this with some guys from work and it is good fun, in all honesty I prefer it to classic. The only thing that makes it really good is me and my workmates put cash on the line, and have good banter at work, so we all play to win. I've joined a few social media groups before and as soon as one person drops out due to having a kaka team it really sucks the joy out of it. Also, it's a bit of a mission with social media groups trying to find a good time to do the draft (especially with people in nz and australia, western australia for me) that suits everyone.
How many people do you plan on having in the group, I could be keen if there is a bunch of keen as fellas. Do you plan on having 13 scoring players? Sorry about the long-winded comment, just don't want to put a big effort into this if we get a gang going and then people aren't keen a couple weeks into the season.

Yeah I'd be keen if others are keen to make it work.
One of the issues I felt last year was there was hardly any chat, al maybe we have a thread on here, or even a WhatsApp chat where people can talk a bit of shit and ask for trades etc

Totally agree. The game is pretty one dimensional without the banter. It’s why I like to play head to head.
