General NRL 2022 Round 23 - General Discussion

Looks like manly may get blown away too.
See what the second half brings.
2nd half for the Sea Eagles was great haha. Almost as bad as we played.

Also, great to see the Tigers sucking big time..

Fuck me the gulf between the top teams and the lowers ones is astronomical.

Looking forward to nek year - Eels and Panthers loosing a few, could bring them back to the pack

Yeah a huge gap between teams back end of this season.
Bring on the finals then the world cup looks like our kiwis squad could be actually something special on paper🤞

Not a good look for the competition the last few weeks if you are interested in close games.

A few years ago the NRL were promoting how they had the worlds closest competition. The last few years have seen a lot of hidings.

It’s rounds like this that show the dumb rule changes have ruined the game. Nearly every game is one way traffic.
V’landys wanted to make the game faster, but he has made it almost unwatchable!
Agreed, its massively problematic that we allow referees already in over their heads, to have such power in determining the winner via repeat sets. It was their lack of feel for the game that has got us to this point in the first place.

Tamou likely to be banned for calling the refs incompetent on the same weekend Curran did all but say the same.

Brandon smith banned for 4 weeks recently for the same.

The level of officiating is doing the players head in as well as us fans!

How crazy is it that we get 48 points scored against us and it's still only the 3rd worst result of the weekend!

I feel like Raiders and Dragons are under pressure now to keep the big scores up, if they only win by 20 pts or less against their spoon contender opponents that may be considered a failure 😅

Had to wait for the last game of the round for a close one.

I admit though I was a bit worried about the Titans game for a while as they wouldn't let the Dragons get too far away for quite a lot of it. Like us they couldn't take advantage of a 12 man side. Let the Dragons run over them.

Good for us though for dodging the spoon.
