Just to highlight the issues in the NRL at the moment. Prior to the conclusion of the in play Newcastle v St George game, the average points for the winning side in the previous 5 games this round is 38.4 and for the losing side, 5.2 points.
Add to that the injury toll, something needs to change. IMO 18th man won't help.

I hate to say it but I think head gear has to be a minimum for everyone

Fuck the titans, dragons have impressed me more. Clearly the issue at that club was the coach- look at how good they are now. Can't wait for our game against them- will be no push over.
It has been proven that head gear has no effect on head knocks and players use them for their own confidence, unlike the mouth guard which is beneficial jaw and mouth knocks.
Its because players who are faster and stronger why the injuries are so frequent.
That's bold, we lost to that shit Knights team. They looked solid in attack, a bit clunky now Bunt isn't there. They're playing really tough that's for sure.
