Long live the Rainbows and Butterflies
Glad to see the boys throw everything at this game and go home with their tails held high.

Pity those two passes resulted in tries at the wrong end, but rather see that than them standing still and not trying it on.

Just like to shout out to Papalii and Burr today. Unsung players with no contract next year but were hitting hard in defence. Solid workhorses in a team with to many trying to do to much.

We were a completely different team in the first and second halves. First half we looked hungry and up for it, but after they scored those two tinny tries we went in to our shells and didn't fire another shot.

Nikorima once again went MIA. Does he have a clause in his contract stating a max number of involvements per week, otherwise we need to pay him overtime?

In terms of positives I thought the defence was by and large fine. A few too many times we didn't wrap the arms and some woeful individual tackling efforts but still probably passable.

Game of two halves that one!

B+ for the first half. C- for the second!

Thought the Raiders looked tough but really disorganised. Williams coming off had a big impact for them. The commentators kept saying they would challenge anyone of the top 3 teams?! If they play that kind of football Papali ain’t gonna save em.

Good attitude from our guys today. Really didn’t drop our lips until after Roger Tuivasa-Sheck went off.

Good to see Ale get some minutes. Keen to see how Roger Tuivasa-Sheck our is covered next week? Surely won’t be Hiku will it? Guessing we haven’t got any youngsters in the wider squad?

Why so many C's?

We playing the only team in the comp that can match the top 2 with 4 months away from home playing under Aus media scrutiny for the first time and the Raiders score 3 tinny tries on any other day 2 of them were tries to us instead and the Raiders the best last 20min team in the comp by FAR and we only played worthy of a C? Any other year and we get caned 40-0 by Canberra and the fans are happy with that. Gone from extreme low expectations to delierium us fans.....

I get called out for sounding negative of the team when Im just being analytically critical. imo anything less than a B is awfully harsh. But each to their own.

Great effort. I was not a fan of Burr or Papalii, but they gave everything today. Two lucky tries and a little lack of execution from the halves. I am proud of them.

Why so many C's?

For me it was how bad we looked for the last 50 or so minutes of the game. If we'd nabbed a try in the second half I might've considered bumping up to a B, but for mine I'd prefer to reserve anything above a C for "geez we nearly lost that" type games (or wins).

1. Going from 8 - 6 to 10 - 6 is the neggiest play in the book.

2. Nathan Brown needs to unlock the Jazz Tevaga enigma. We are a worse team without him but he contributes to our worst plays game after game.

3. The improvement in this team is a sight to behold. SKs team would have conceded 50 today

My only thoughts from the game. Can we start a match day thread/poll for every game going forward titled: What is Jazz going to do today?" with the following options

A) Be sent to the sin bin
B) Give away a needless penalty, resulting in other team scoring from the resulting set
C) Knock the ball on when getting up and trying to niggle the tackler instead of just playing the ball
D) look to offload the ball with out looking to see who he is offloading too. Resulting in the other team scoring from the turnover
E)none of the above

He does a lot of good things, but the club will never win a premiership with him in the first 17.

That was the most undeserved half time lead in a game I can remember. Felt like the game changed with a crap attempt at an offload from Tevaga that was more of a fling and hope. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck didn’t turn up today and I worry it’s the last time we see him with a Warriors jersey on.
