I doubt Ponga was aiming up, I reckon it was self preservation.

Yeah I think it was self preservation rather than intent to injure but guess ‘shoulder charge’ nonetheless- certainly less than Duffy’s one last week but the charge over the sideline seems to be borderline ok

It wasn't intentional to injure, but it was reckless. Changed his line, made no attempt to get the ball, contact with the head in a score trying opportunity. Can't be anything but a sin bin for mine.

Fine has been mentioned “heated altercation” was used to describe it too
The way Maloney and Tamau went at him before then was pretty crap too, Tamau was standing over him blocking his path and it wouldn’t surprise me if more came from this.
