General NRL 2018 Round 7 - General Discussion

enterthewarrior

Bellamy will have us worked out on Wednesday, same as Wayne did.
Doubt it'll be 42-0 but I fear a big loss due to those Storm precision set moves with Slater finishing. Win this week and we're still the real deal for another week.

I don't think so

Find it odd how Maloney is in the running to be the cause of a penalty try, but because the try was scored anyway escapes sanction?

TRY for me. Player definitely taken out, pro foul, 10 min sin bin, ball was grounded as well. Sharks doing us a SOLID.

Yeah I think thats so wrong. The Warriors have had so many sin bins this year for far less, yet, he can just take a player out from an open line and just because they score anyway he doesnt get sin binned? WTF refs.

Maloney lucky to still be on the field in my opinion. But then Green being faster than his team mates was much worse as far as the refs are concerned,

i am finding it a little weird cheering for teams to win to open up the gap on the table for us versus previous seasons cheering other teams to win to close the gap on the table for us

Sharks are a smooth unit, the cream is starting to rise to the top of the comp this round. We are the cream in this theory.

Same. It’s like living in a parallel universe.

I actually feel guilty and dirty at the same time wanting the Sharks to win.

Penrith resorting to grubs instead of being composed and realising they had time left. Some real nasty tackling and interfering in the play the ball.

I'm finding it weird going to work Monday's and not getting shit about how the footy went on the weekend.

Sharks have done really well to shut down Maloney. Everything the Panthers do on attack goes through Maloney. They're definitely missing Cleary as Peachy just isn't the same calibre of player.

Panthers though look like a far fitter side.

Mondays have definitely been a lot better this year. Getting a win on Friday really kicks off the weekend.

The rest of the competition has been hard to work out the form guide. The only real consistent sides so far have been the Dragons, Tigers and Warriors. Well maybe the Eels as well.
