Good to have Ken back in the team and a nice surprise to see Bunty's name there

Would be absolutely mean if Big Bunty is fit and firing though prognosis for the injury was RD 22 return however those are always suspect! Solid team but dunno if I rate the effectiveness of keeping Hiku on the bench. Anyways hopefully the boys use that 50 -10 thumping as further motivation and go out and have a blinder.

Kearney going for a defensive unit this weekend.

Just need to swap Hiku for Bunty and pray for a dry track....

    Great news about Bunty
As even if he isn’t ready this week it sounds positive for next week.

I am good with Hiku having a bench spot.

In the event of an injury he covers nearly every back line position.

More importantly sk was never going to drop him from the 17 altogether and I would expect that even when at completely full strength in s fee rounds from now peta will get a bench position.

Should be a cracker of a game and probably for the first time this year i don't really have a but about the team named.......... I like the two big wingers up against Ado-Carr n Vinivalu - Hiku i'm afraid would be toast i think on the wing and also the metres the two wingers make bringing the ball back will be important. To be honest acrosss both teams there are really good match ups luke/cameron smith, Kata/scott, Beale/chambers, RTS/Slater, Paasi/human apartment block, Mannering/Hoffman. I do think they do have a better bench at this stage and really like to see Brandon Smith against luke when he gets on, kiwi hooker v future kiwi hooker.

Interesting to see Pita go to the bench.

I kind of hope he plays actually on the left Wing again, that edge was far more active this week even though Hiku stayed out of the set moves as a receiver (aided by Kata).

Not unhappy with ken though, he deserves his spot and Pita deserves a bit of the bench for Penrith, good on the Warriors for not petting him.

Bunty on the bench smells like bullshit.

Like the times where Johnson was there and in no hope in hell of playing.

    Hope not.

Speaking of that left edge, allowing the forwards to shift quickly especially Mannering and Papalii was a real eye openner.

It would be stunning to see the Left edge as lethal as that right has been (not working at the moment with Tohu and Pita missing)

Do we think when Bunty, Harris and Pulu get back Jazz will miss out? I like Hiku on the Bench, The team us used to 2.5 forwards now so a back cover won't hurt us haha

When Harris, Bunty and Pulu are back, Papalii, Hiku and Satae would most probably miss out IMO.

Mannering would move to bench and share lock/prop duties with Blair.

And I'd be interested to see how Maumalo went from the bench. Bringing him on fresh with 20 to play could be a game changer.

    8: Gavet
    9: Luke
    10: paasi
    11: Mannering
    12 Harris
    13: Blair

    14: Jazz
    15: Afoa
    16: Pulu
    17: Papalii

Satae will drop out my best guess (ignore the order of those players btw apart from Luke and Harris no one bloody knows what Kearneys final template is).

If we can at least compete with the Storm for the full 80 mins & keep it tight with this line up then I for one will be relatively content

A win would be awesome but I can live with a close loss as long as we give it all we got in Our House & leave it all on the pitch

    In saying that ...

If I was Kearney I would definitely make the entire FG squad sit down together & watch the last match against the Storm at least once this week

Just to remind them of the pain Melbourne inflicted on us last time around in an effort to try & fire our team up to make amends & then some

Then I would give them an utu rallying cry for this upcoming match ... REMEMBER ANZAC DAY!!! ... Lest We Forget

I would be very happy with a top effort too.

I keep hearing this bullshit on the Radio (from some experts that should know better) that the Broncos win was such a shock " After two big losses in a row "...what bloody two big losses are those ??? we were narrowly cheated by the Sharks you knobs.

I like the idea of Hiku as our super sub. As jazz 'covers' hooker

Good to see troops coming back- how good would it be to have the full squad going into the finals?
Would love to see a statement against the Storm this week after the hiding they gave us.
