pretty happy with the win. We are a different team when the forwards man-up and run with some energy.

Mannering was enormous, one of his best games in weeks in my opinion. He handled their big dudes really well and ran with real purpose. Gavet makes our pack so much more formidable.
Ayshford was busy and Roache looks like a pretty handy replacement for Luke if he is out long term. Still confused by the bench rotations tonight. Hardly saw vete and others played really short stints at a time.

I don't have a problem with CNK's performance. Slippery conditions and he came back well from his early errors. Thought his no try deserved a second look by the bunker. Maumalo is a real improver and while I would like to see Bodene go looking for more work during the times we were under the pump, he went ok with ball in hand.

My only genuine query is Johnson's line kicking... why when kicking for touch from a penalty does he not look for more distance? He is consisitently much, much shorter in the distance he looks for than pretty much every body else in the NRL. I just don't get it.

Gave it a C

Like always they let in an easy try right at the last minute.....makes all the good stuff they did for 78 minutes forgotten.

Great game. Our best performance of the year for sure; especially without Foran and Luke.
The bulldogs were coming to get us in the second half but if hang in there eventually the momentum will turn and we did and it did.
I actually thought the bulldogs were really good- ESP their defence- we created enough opportunity to score 40.
Simon mannering is a legend- straight up. His defense was unreal- he did a real number on klemmer- got graham a couple of times too.
Actually hoff and bodene were good too- best performance from our backrow this year.
Cnk had a horror night- happens.
Gotta love gavet and maumalos try.....
My glass is officially half full :)

Good game, not great. Dogs were rubbish. Think we were robbed on Malos 2nd, Fusitua was never involved in the play, and we have had worst given against us.

Gavet was a beast on both sides of the ball. Great one on one stops and the best charges of the contest.

SJ was solid but again not taking the line which is cutting the options.

Roache looks like genuine 1st grade, just needs to take the line on more and support the runners

Positives

Maumalo - Really has improved out of site.
Roache - First time I have seen him for a long period. Man very impressive
Gavet - We have our enforcer. Gets better every week.
Matulino - Played like we know he is capable tonight.
The forward pack in general was awesome. We haven't made metres like that for a bloody long time

Cause he's a fucking pussy and mentally can't handle a scenario where the kick doesn't go dead.

Back up hooker good. Back up half ehhhh.

Some good stuff but it still smells like mid season false hope.

Johnson has the yips throwing any pass longer than a metre.

Bulldogs did turn up, but haslers game plan is so strange. It's basically relying on the opposition to fuck it up.

Ken Manu aye.
