Can only hope they aren't confident in manus hamstring atm and should that change by Monday a forward (any forward) travelling as 18th man will come on instead.

Is it just the coach that picks the team? Or a selection panel with the coaches name on it? Wright being there makes sense if The Cool is right but if not WTF? No coach in his right mind would pick a spare wing over a decent forward so there must be a plan from the brains trust. Please?
Or maybe some inside info on injured backs. But nah, that still doesn't make sense

None of those positional changes would worry the Storm or cause them to change tactics, I can't see why Cappy would bother trying to be so secretive. If he wasn't going to play wright on the bench he'd simply put him as 18th man and make late positional changes.

Great to have Manu back and Fusitua on the other wing. Lillyman on bench is a no brainer.

Gubb I guess is given another chance due to his excellent contribution in previous weeks. He was bad last week but I guess the coach is minimising change to a winning team.

Sao will improve with more game time.

Wright can only be explained as kbazi so succintly summed up.

Not the worst team we have fielded this year and our starting team is excellent even without Roger Tuivasa-Sheck which speaks volumes for our depth and injury status at the moment.

I would prefer Vete and Lane in for Gubb and Wright, but I am just a munter

I agree with Tommy not being an 80 min player we will get to see Tui back in the halfs and Fusitua at full back and Wright on the wing for probably 20 mins of game time.
Fusitua would be the guy to cover injuries i would think.

this has given me nothing but feels for the second day in a row. feels like someone i loved dumped or disappeared or something. i dunno


as for the team i kind of have a feeling that someone like Jazz might show up and replace write at kick off. wright to me is there to cover manu in case something happens
