Like a couple of others on here who I've PM'ed over the years, I hear a few rumours that I've never posted because something doesn't feel "right". I've got hold of a friend who is much closer to the club than I and if what he has told me is true, it looks like dominant1's source has had heard part of the same things mine has - and then his source has jumped to the wrong conclusion.

Bully (and a few of the other senior players) have got stuck into some of the squad members who they have felt aren't putting in the effort - which is what you'd expect to happen in a team environment. He doesn't know anything about players missing training.

Bully is concerned about his own form, still feels like he hasn't adapted to the team properly plus has family concerns (which others have previously posted about).

Rest assured, at least by my contacts knowledge, if Bully doesn't play today, it will be based on form and not because he's being disciplined about other players.

He's also pretty sure we'll see Bully on the field in FG today.

If what you say about the senior players is true, there may be hope for this team yet...now the coach and club have to back that group, even as far as getting rid of players who wont give everything.

Hopefully the chain of events is more like what Miket12 listed. Senior players laying the law down to lift the joint rather than a senior player calling guys out for being missing and getting dropped himself.

This scenario makes more sense in how a sports team would operate.

Gotta give him benefit of doubt. He had the opportunity to post many times before but hasnt at all despite registering nearly 3 years ago. Thats not very troll like behavior. User is also in Auckland.

Further to that, would that happening even surprise anyone anymore?

Maybe... when I first called out Iron Lion I got similar feedback tajhay - and we all know how that turned out.

I guess we'll find out in a couple of hours.

Who would not be putting in the effort? Bully comes to mind, but he's the one complaining! I just don't see which players that are not senior players dogging it. Kata? Nah. Hurrell? He can't even make FG. Lolo? He gives as much effort as anyone. Can someone tell me who the potential slackers are? Surely they would be identified by now.

Also, even though we feel we, as fans, should know everything, I'm firmly of the belief we don't need to - that's why I don't post a lot of the things I hear - either because it may not be true or because some stuff is personal and shouldn't be made public. Some things are best just dealt with by the club or those involved.

That's what we want, the senior players getting stuck in and forcing other to lift their game.

His own form might be a concern to him, but it would be a brave/dumb man to drop Luke in favour of Roache and ??? for a game this early into the season. Just can't see him being dropped for form at this stage.

Not expecting everything to click, but I think we'll see a pretty determined Bully today. IMO he'll be looking to run a lot more.

EDIT: And then I read the game thread and Luke is apparently out with injury. No good.

This is exactly the reason I have felt compelled to post this information, not to mess with you guys but to hopefully get them to think again about dropping bull, if luke plays today, alls good won't be back for another 3 years, if I'm write, I've info that will make your head spin . But believe this win or lose today, this club is in turmoil

Could you imagine if this forum had that sort of power to make things happen? Cappy would be gone, Manu would be in the forwards, and TL would have overcalled everyone on his way to the US presidency.

Some of those other senior players need a kick up the arse as well from what we have been watching.

I've heard a few players whispered about, but I don't know for sure that they are the ones, so I'm not prepared to name them - sorry.

How can you possibly be sane and claim that Robbo in your spine makes you strong, if he was that good a player he wouldn't of been asked to leave his previous club, or the club before that, or before that one!!!!

Ya' see. Robbo was brought in so that he could guide us around the park and Shauny J and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck could roam. He's steady as...Cappy wanted him on the team, so how could he not be what we need? Time will tell. Lolo only runs at 6. Those first two games were an aberration. He also has hidden speed. I think you can't appreciate what Wright, Allwood, Robbo offer our team. They are so tough. They are Aussie, aussie, aussie. It's what the faithful at Mt Smart came to see.

Sorry Dave, but there's a BIG difference for a player being dropped for disciplinary reason, as dominant1 said, and a player being injured during the captain's run.

Unless Cappy told the players not to get injured and Bully did it anyway. That would be blatant disobeying of a direct instruction.
