NRL 2016 - Rnd 7 - Bulldogs vs Warriors Post Match Discussion

Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs 20 vs 24 New Zealand Warriors
Westpac Stadium, Wellington

Who was your Man of the Match?
Biggest question: How did Tuimoala Lolohea go at five eighth?
Was the Des Hasler curse lifted?
Did any of our forwards aim up to James Graham or David Klemmer?
How did our wingers David Fusitua and Jonathan Wright go?
Did the right edge collapse without Tui?
The local boys Simon Mannering, Ben Matulino and Charlie Gubb give their family a good show?
Bodene Thompson pull up ok? How much did we miss him?
Ryan Hoffman remain composed or did he nut off again?
Isaac Luke play a full 80?
Where did Thomas Leuluai play when he came on? Did he move to lock after?
Did Ligi Sao end up playing? For who?
NRL Bunker?

I'm just going to quote myself from the gameday thread....

I'm thinking Warriors fast start, Dogs grind back into it, 2 points in it either way going into the last 20 and then two quick tries helps us to pull away at the end before a lazy consolation try makes the score look closer at the end (plus gives us all those Warrior feels of screwing it up that we're all used to by now).
A couple of minor details different, but hey, that's pretty damn close.

When you got dem feels you got dem feels.

Very happy with that win. Warriors never make it easy on themselves or us fans but we got the 2 points and thats all that matters.

Still a lot to work on. Defence was off particularly on the right edge and Charlie Gubb being caught in no mans land.

Great to see our top two props aiming up. Bull, Ben and Lisone played a great game and sure enough we look instantly better on attack.

Welcome back Bodene, Fusitua and Jono.

That Tuimoala is so insanely gifted. Slots in at centre, five eight and fullback seamlessly. What a talent...

So much better with a proper bench used correctly.

So can Cappy coach or is it the players? We looked well drilled for most of the game there. Apart from a couple of diabolical left edge cock ups we were strong for most of the game defensively.

When we stick to the plan and dont try miracle plays all the time we look great.

Great effort from the team. Played hard, with guts and got the win.

Lolohea is a great player. SJ was outstanding. It's nice to praise the pony boys who make the sidesteps...

Our forwards were tough as anything against the biggest pack in the comp... Mutts was a colossus. When he was off we were off...

Lillyman had his best game of the season..

Mannering tacked the shit out of the doggies.

Thompson is a very smart edge player...
