Agreed with you all. However, apart from Hurrell Vs Neilsen, I am happy. Agree we look like a small pack so we might have to outwork them. Fish still injured? Pleased Mateo not allowed back after an indifferent performance.

I would love to know what Vatuvei's defensive KPI's are that his defense is considered fine but Konrads isn't....Manu, as long as you don't literally stab your team in the back with your abysmal defense.....you're good:facepalm:

Clearly Konrad's done something wrong, its not for us to know about it though. I don't think Nielson will be there at season's end, but if dropping key players is what it takes to get a hard-nosed professional culture at the club, then so be it I say. McFadden's consistent with him selections last week, if you don't put in the work, you won't get selected, full stop. This is how it should be if we are to build a culture of success.

But the action was taken against the wrong player? The guy has given it everything over the past few weeks. This stinks.

konnie seems to be an easy target for coaches trying to make a statement.

I might get near decapitated for this, but...

I have no problems with Konrad being dropped. Cappy gives crystal clear, rock solid reasoning as to why he was, and we can be under no illusions with that. His dropping is on the back of his defensive KPI, so clearly there must have been some major issues going on, on that side of things that perhaps we were unaware of.

Nielsen remaining is a major drag, but really who was going to replace him with Konnie dropped? Given Mutts is out, Lousi is suspended and Ikahihifo is under a cloud, Peyroux moving onto the left edge is the only logical choice. Absolutely stoked to see Simon in the middle (hopefully that's where he plays) - we've all been asking for that. He'll go a long, long way to shoring up that middle. That right edge of Ngani and Fusitua is a bit of a worry, but hopefully they'll be okay on D. On attack, I know they'll be fine.
Benry coming back is a big boost, just hoping that knee of his is fully, 100% healed.

All up, happy with the side, given our injuries and suspensions.

I honestly do not understand the Neilson / Hurrell thing... I cannot fathom how a guy who offers nothign on attack and average on D can be picked ahead of our most dangerous ball runner who didn't put in any worse performance than the other guy defensively.

It reaks of cutting the nose off to spite the face.

Why are we so determined to do our best to lose?

if you are the dragons, who do you want at centre for the Warriors this weekend?

    Dane Neilsen

    or

    Konrad Hurrell?

Has it though? We don't know the full picture. The KPi's could be just a smoke screen. If they are messing around not putting in I'm happy to drop the bloody lot of them every week until they all learn to be professionals.

Our spine is going to have to play at their very best if we're to get more points than st George.

Our back row is no threat and one side of the field with neilson has no points.
Maybe bombs to manu all game

Keeping Manu, Nielsen, Friend ALL after having a mare is weak. No other word for it. Dropping Konnie after all the tries were scored on the OTHER side of the field. Is weak. Our weak links were kept after they had a direct influence on the loss. The message to Mateo is a good one. But will only last so long. On the other hand we have gotten Fusitua and more importantly Mannering at lock. But when the Dragons have us down on our try line after the ref has given them their hundredth penalty. What faith do we have in Manu and Dane that will be any different under pressure than last week, Especially as none were dropped. This week was perfect for Manu to get his wish and become the impact forward we all wanted and needed. May i add. Manu on the bench would have added size unlike Benry. The next weeks are going to be hell so it would have been the perfect time to make changes now so when we come out of this hell we'd have some stability. Besides Mannering to lock which is gold. Its more of the same. Especially when Konnie has been one of our best and Fusitua should have replaced one of the muppets on the left hand side. I still like McFadden. Hope he does well. But this is a weak team he picked.

Why does it seem like he is always the guy singled out though? It definitely stinks of double standards. Some guys cant seem to play themselves OUT of the team with some of their inept performances whilst others can't seem to keep a spot in the team no matter how well they play.
