Hard to argue with that team.

Pretty straight-forward really. Lolohea remains cover for Johnson, who must still be fairly borderline. Ditto Gubb for Rapira - I assume? Anybody know if we have other forwards under a cloud?

They have taken 19 on the other occasions when they head to Perth. I think its a case of taking your best 19 because of the versatility of a lot of our players, I wouldn't necessarily say that Lolohea and Gubb were injury cover, however I could be wrong.

    No Merritt? So sad.

I hope Hurrell flattens the woman basher into oblivion.

Cappy reconed the only injury issue was Konrads nuts after that last game.....does that count as two injuries ?.....I'll get my coat.....not before adding :

Gub will be there to let Paasi get some footy time while Gub plays the spare wheel.

Lolohea cover after having a fitness run for the Vulcans last week. Next week he will probably not be there.

Souths teams are always impressive when they have a full serving of Burgi.....Luke in Inglis.

One hell of a team that Rabbitohs side.

Too close to call for mine.

We've got them covered out wide but can't fall into the trap of playing too lateral trying to take advantage of it.
Still need to match them in the middle- do that and the points will come.

I think we have all the positives going into this match.

Again this is the year for breaking hoodoos. This one is doable, we just need to hold onto the ball like we did last week and we'll be fine.

But don't forget they play 11.30 or midnightish new zealand time. Their body clocks are going to have to be switched off for half the day if we want a big win.

Pity we didn't get the dragons at least in our 2nd game after round 10, otherwise we would have broken another hoodoo.

    Always next year.

Next hoodoo after this should be Canberra in Canberra. We haven't beaten them there since early 2002 I think.

When is the team leaving Auckland? Surely we'd be having to go Thursday or something for us to get over the jet lag sufficiently?

It's just the roll on the Burgess boys can get them that worries me. Thought the Bulldogs big pack cleaned us up and South's pack are quality. On the back of that roll on Luke, Inglis, Reynolds, Sutton and co can be dangerous

But yeah, time for that bloody Perth hoodoo to bite the dust.

Tomkins will probably have a huge game as well!

Time to show who the best English league player is!

That Souths team was monstrous through the middle vs the Dragons, they are massive and mobile, but if we can get parity with their pack we could win quite well, if we cant go with them we're in trouble.

This game is captain obvious at his best. We already know what has to happen. We just have no idea if it'll happen OR if it'll be allowed to happen. If we get caned in penalties they WILL be hard to hold out. But if we get a fair go by the refs AND can match their forwards. Not dominate. Just match. Our backline absolutely shits all over theirs. My god if they were missing just 1-2 forwards we'd rack up a mega score. Like we used to. But back to reality and they have those forwards. So it's up to our boys up the middle to hold and charge and get our boys on the edges the few chances they need. Tomkins has stepped up for the big games so look to him to have a big game. Konnie is there ready willing and waiting. We just need to make it happen and give him the chances he needs to rape pillage and destroy. What a win if we go into the bye. Still we are in good form whatever happens and that needs to continue either way. Excited but nervous. Big game for our club. Big week for our club. Change of coach. Change of CEO. I've never felt better or more confident about the state of the club. Hell even Mt. Smart stays on for the future. You bloody ripper! Loving life as a Warriors fan. We've all earnt this good fortune. Every one of us. We deserve all this AND more!

This will be a good test of where we are at and if we have made progress since the Dogs game, especially as it's effectively on neutral ground.

If we get a win I can see us marching up the ladder the next few weeks. After this game we don't leave Auckland for 5 weeks- 3 home games, 2 byes.

Hopefully Shane Hayne stays out of it.
He loves the Rabbitohs. They do very well under him.

Apart from that I'm sure you're right , we get rooted badly like the Dogs game.

Hold the ball.......Souths or anyone still loses against the Warriors provided they hold the ball.
