It's good to see a very obvious lift in quality between the national premiership and the Fox Memorial...the games iv'e seen on sky have been quite impressive, and only reinforces my belief that the warriors need to make a bigger effort to recruit more youth from outside the Auckland region....the balance in the 20's side is out of whack right now, to much size and power, not enough speed a guile.

Not sure how you can say that with the Akarana and Counties side dishing out hidings every Monday night.

When you look at the scores being dished out , you can see the gap in talent amongst the youth. With Counties Manukau they have a mix of youth and experience. If you look at the youth in the CM they have a lot of speed out wide, some of them have already been promoted to the warriors development side.
IMO you could get the odd Cinderella player from the regions outside the 3x main centres but they have to make the transition to a higher level of comp, rep sides and age group footy.
