Naomi Kara (born 18 June 1986) is a New Zealand rugby league footballer who plays as a halfback for the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL Women's Premiership.

Born in Cambridge, New Zealand, Kara played her junior rugby league for the Cambridge Raiders and the Runaway Bay Seagulls. Her younger brother Kurt is a former New Zealand Māori representative.

In 2017, Kara played Greenacre Tigers in the NSWRL Women's Premiership. In 2019 and 2020, she played for the Wests Tigers.

In September 2020, she joined the New Zealand Warriors NRL Women's Premiership team. In Round 3 of the 2020 NRLW season, Kara made her debut for the Warriors, starting at halfback in a 22–10 win over the St George Illawarra Dragons.

Every year since I remember all my family and I go to Tairua Beach for the Xmas/New Years break.

Something to do with helping youth Māori back home or working for Tainui my iwi.

Waikato Netball, Waikato softball, Harvey Norman Wests Tigers, WA rugby 7’s.
12. What impact or difference has MCR training made to your past, current and future goals?
I’ve never specifically focused on sprint training before so learning to run properly and all the techniques involved, I already feel lighter while running and excited to see how much my sprinting does improve.
13. If you had to be Siamese twins with one person, which MCR team member would you pick to be stuck with and why?
Bo. Because I want to be fast like her
14. If you were to pick 3 people to be isolated with, who would they be and why?
My nana so she can tell me all her stories again
