General Moving to the Waikato??

I might have to move to the Waikato as of March to finish off Uni there.
For the first time since I can remember I'll be missing alot of Warriors home games.

Just wondering for those who already live there how is it down there and does anyone care about the Warriors in Hamilton??

Come on down to the Waikato, invest in some cow bells too. Plenty of things to do, Hamilton Gardens is a must see.

Night life is great, drunken bodies packing out the main street after a footy match.

does anyone care about the Warriors in Hamilton??

Hell Yeah! We managed to pack in 21,500 at Waikato Stadium during the pre-season game last year.

Not to mention the game against the Eels were it absolutely pissed down all day and cleared up just in time for kick off. The stadium was pretty full considering the weather. The finish is the fog was eeerie and totally awesome being there..

And then there's the pre season game against the Dragons a year earlier. Two local identies interviewed by Veitchy was a laugh.


Plus it ain't far to Auck Mosh to get up to home games. Good fun travelling and stopping meeting fellow fans on the way

The crowd was definite rugby, but there were a lot of them who enjoyed themselves..
