3 Matulino
2 Johnson
1 Friend

Matulino was just a machine, Johnson did most of the work today and Friend mixed up his game a little.

Ropo was very solid on D, defused infinite bombs.

Manu was good today, just one error?

Good to see Lillyman back

3 Friend
2 Johnson
1 Henry

Johnson looked like a true halfback for the first time. He chased his kicks, made some tackles, showed real urgency. And he executed well. Very impressed.

3 - Matulino

1 - Johnson
Called it and stand by my decision.

Really stoked with
- Taylor in the Front Row
- Our fringe defence
- Our line defence
- Our intensity in running and willingness to break the line
- The offload effectiveness
- Our completion rate (what was it? High 80's?)
- Ropo at FB.

Bring on next week, cannot come quick enough. Bit pissed I won't be able to watch it though.

3 Matulino= How does he do these performances every week?
2 Johnson= Hopefully its this sort of form we can expect from Johnson, with the odd magical moment every now and then.
1 Lillyman= Oh how i've missed you.

Matulino - Consistently playing like a machine!!
Johnson - He definitely brought his A Game tonight!
Maloney - Was glad to have him kicking well tonight, missing any of those goals could have really hurt us.

3. Matulino - He's in such amazing form at the moment. There's nothing more that I love than seeing Thaiday get hit, so he gets the 3 points purely on that.
2. Mannering - Great defense
1. Johnson - got bumped off once or twice, but I thought he handled the opposition very well in defense! Not such a great second half, but solid

3 Big Ben
2 Benry
1 Johnson

All have progressed nicely from toyota cup

I agree with this. Daylight between Ben and the rest. Our 2012 MVP by far.

HM to Lillyman too though, he looked very good in his return. Ropo did well at Fullback. Bombs don't seem to be a major issue for him, which is good.

The only guy I wasn't impressed with was Tai'ai. Even then he wasn't horrid enough to warrant tearing into him. I expect he will make way for Rapira though.

I'm not going to say anything bad about Ta'ai - he had some good touches in defense. He played his part. Agreed though, he will make his way for Rapira (which ever one is fit first).

3 - Lillyman, that was outstanding given its his first game back.
2 - Matulino
1 - Johnson

Weakest point was Mateo, he just doesn't seem to have any mojo right now. Apparently Friend played most of that with a broken jaw, thats one tough bloke if its true!

3. Matulino - fast becoming my favorite Warrior with his dominant performances.
2. Johnson - some great touches on attack and kicking game was also pretty good (apart from that one bung hack near the end)
1. Ropo - he stood up to the challenge of covering the fullback role and did an admirable job - made very good metres too.

Good to see the Bull back in action as well - he was great.

Matulino and the best prop in the NRL imo. Cleary moving him and Lillyman to prop was a masterstroke tbh.

Another reason Friend is awesome and underated at the club. I hope it isn't true though, for next weeks sake.

Well if he is then our game plan is very very different for the next 4-6 weeks. God + Mara into the squad?

Some would argue Gallen is the best.

Gallen mostly plays at 13 so I hadn't thought of him lol. But yeah, if Gallen is at prop then hes the best. An absolute beast and the best forward in the game by a country mile.

yep. Could maybe swap 1 & 2 but it's be splitting hairs. Friend for playing the 2nd half with a suspected broken hand gets an HM.

Damn, does that mean Friend is out? I'm loving him at the moment. If true, do we see Mara/Brown sharing the hooking duties or is God given a reprise as well?
