Todd Lowrie was on radio sport this arvo. Very different animated speaker to the emotionless guy on field.
A couple of classic Todd Lowrie tales.
When asked who he fears in the NRL " One of the blokes I'm playing along side Russel Packer scares my three year old "
On 'do NRL players look out for specific ferocious tacklers in the line '
Lowrie goes on to tell the tale of how when he was young and green and due to play the warriors......he made a note of avoiding the guy with the Afro.....so he runs at full tilt that weekend against one of the bald headed Warriors instead.
It turned out to be Richard Villisante who had shaved his Afro off before the game.
Lowrie suffered a split kidney.
