Why exactly is he the worst owner?

Wasn’t he the owner when we got to the GF in 2002?

2003 when we made the semi’s and knocked out by the eventual winners, Penrith, didn’t he offer to give free tickets to all kiwis in Syndey?

I remember he got punched by Russell Crowe, got in bed with Owen Glenn to try and make our club the greatest sporting franchise in Australasia, but I don’t recall him meddling in the affairs of how the club is run daily or how players are selected - that’s not his role.

Actually other way around with Russ, he was a well belted martial artist (Jujitsu)and asked him into the next room following a disagreement at a dinner table.

They have spent three or four seasons in league 1 ( division 3 in old speak) but out of there now. So it ha taken them say five years working things out since dropping out of the premier league. It will take us way more than that to reach a GF in a smaller single competition.

Watson was initially engaged in the club and we did ok - The free tickets is actually the owner getting actively involved!

When Watson ran the company from a distance out team suffered from a lack of the owners priority and investment… we had a lot of lean years after 2011 as we steadily went backwards as a club.

He fluked Daniel Anderson through Matthew Ridge introducing him to Mad Mick Watson
The squad was full of young up and coming stars developed by one of our better coaches Mark Graham.
He then fluked a forward leader in Kevin Campion and a great backs leader and goalkicker in Ivan Cleary.
He didn't pay for the semi final tickets, Vodafone did, just to piss Telstra off.
He paid nothing toward the club, in fact Cappy was loudly critical behind the scenes as to how tight fisted he was.
Owen Glenn built the gym, not Watson....and when the grifter finally sold it to the Trust he left a bill for millions.

He didn't get into bed with Glenn for the club, what horse shite. He got into Glenn for over 200 million pound sterling in rorted property deals.

The guy is a grifter, the FBI are after him, he is a farking disgraceful apology for a human being.

Well like it or lump it.. hes the owner, period.

Hes stated in earlier posts about a title win in around three years. Well 2 years later we're on track for the title at the wrong end of the table.... sure living in oz hasn't helped, development pathways are non-existent, plus theres serious issues in the club. (As fans we may not know the details but we sure as hell know those issues exist)

The last throw of the dice is what happens when they return home. IMO the novelty of returning home may win us a few games, but that will soon wear off.

Then its start again add another 3 years and for goodness sake weed out the rubbish. Other wise Mohawk you can give yourself an uppercut for dreaming and not acting...

Speaking to Newshub, Robinson drives home his desire to keep improving the culture of the club and lifts the lid on the recent departure of recruitment manager Peter O'Sullivan, leaving for new side Redcliffe Dolphins.

"I don't want to knock the guy, because that's not my style, but he didn't really fit our culture," Robinson says.

"People were always a bit wary of him, but since he's moved on, there's been another build in that area. Everyone's really starting to come close again.

"Now they realise probably what I saw is what they should have seen, but they didn't see it, because I'm a bit more away from it than there in it everyday."
