He was already in NZ on a student visa when he applied for refugee status so I wouldn‘t think the UN would be involved. I’m just surprised that our immigration/refugee laws don’t say that if you provide fraudulent documents, you’re automatically out of here with no right off appeal.Been hearing more about this,
Wion the Indian news network reported the Sri Lankan government expressing regret and said they were investigating links he might have had with a local Islamic terror group there.
Dunno about that but he definitely provided false documents for his refugee application.
Just have to say, Cindy apologised for the Tongan morning raids 50 years ago and lets this fecker stay around to appeal.
Not actually blaming her completely for that, but from what I hear many governments are wary of upsetting the UN over refugees, sounds about right.
