An interesting legal decision from the other code in the UK but which will crossover to league.

Disciplinary tribunal ruled no foul play under the laws of the game but court decided that the tackler had a liability

We were actually talking about this last night - about whether players could take legal action against reckless or deliberate hits that cause physical damage. There have been a few this weekend that the refs have declined to put on report.

Interesting reading.
Lots to unpick there.
It is a farce that you can go out and deliberately harm people on camera and not face liability for an overt act, merely because someone is there blowing a whistle and waving their arms around.

Also the pseudo judiciary the NRL employs has always been a biased kangaroo court. There needs to be an external body on some level to buck their ideas up.
