General Little Help Please?

I'm looking at buying a retro Warriors shirt preferably from the Auckland era and have found this one on EBAY but it doesn't look like the one I had back in 1995, and I was wondering if someone could confirm whether it is indeed a shirt from back then or one of the numerous replicas that have been created since?

I found a picture via a google search of an Andy Platt collectors card that looks as though he's wearing the same shirt but hoped someone on here could confirm it for me??

Definately the genuine article. 1995 original. It looks to be in pretty good condition. The first thing to go is the collar and it doesnt look like its faded all that much. Great price too...

if it were a bigger size I woulda bought it myself, defn original. Back then I was a student with no spare cash and shirts like this were out of my scope but occasionally you get lucky with who you know not what you know and I got these from two different business colleagues of my wife's.

Hey gREVUS, whats with the spelling of MATA and what number is on the back of that jersey?

Not sure there is a number on the jumper its a promotional piece I think, dunno if you can tell from my crap photo but the numbers are printed on the shirt to show where they need to be signed by team members, it does however have a silver fern on the tag, and I can just make out some of the word black before it gets covered up. I woulda thought a Real jumper would have Canterbury or Puma like the warriors one does.

The warriors jumper came from 2001, I ended up with it in lew of being flown over for the game. I always felt it was something special as it was the first ever time they made the finals. Again like the Blacks jumper it came on the board so I assume MATA was just the way they promoted that year. Oh and although it has my fav players name on it from that year its one of the few I cant read. K. Campion

Yeah I was talking about the Warriors jersey. It may have a number on the back because its a players jersey. May even have been worn in a match.
